Here's my take on the event; [redacted] piece of [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] [redacted]bucket [redacted] [redacted] mother[redacted] RNGesus [redacted] maphunt pile of steaming [redacted].

I sure hope PGI actually did this to gather serious data for PSR/BV validation or something. Just can't fathom the possibility of them doing this out of sheer incompetence, and to add an insult to the injury; let the funny mongrel they just unleashed run amok over the weekend without any chance for moderation or reactionary measures. <-- here's looking at you, lowered pug score reg, after most of us already had put in inhumane hours hunting for 1 map :[

All in all, I dub the event complete & utter [redacted] waste of my [redacted] time & effort.

Gonna go offline for a bit, need to cool off for a year or so. Just don't give a [redacted] anymore.

The event became frustrating and annoying in the end. The map I needed most popped up a unbelievable 2 times on all of sunday. I invested far more than usual into MWO and got nothing in return because the 2 times I got the map I had like 2~12 stomps barely lasting ~3-4mins.

The world is not going to end because I didn't get the free stuff and I made tons of cBills BUT

Don't base challenges on *any* kind of random factors in the future. Being lucky to get the right map is not a challenge it's a bother.

That said: 9x400 score on any map would have been enough already to test most of the community.

PGI, thank you so much for the free cbills and stuff, but please, please, never ever think again of an event tied to RNG rules like the one of the maps. Seriously. That's pure crap.

I was not talking about Nova overheating. There were people who said that they are going to overheat at the start of the match and did so.

Absolutely. This was talked about in nearly every match/lobby I was apart of while playing CW this weekend.

Wow, there is a lot of criticism around here (This challenge was too "biased by luck", so I understand the frustration), I'm gonna provide some positive feedback
I'm always happy to have a challenge/tournament, and most of them are really fun to participate. Especially CW was kinda "reanimated", I really had some good games and a lot of fun. Keep it up, hopefully with some adjustments that balance the obvious things out.

I was starting my very last map (HPG) 4 minutes before 16.00 UTC and finishing it like 5 minutes after. I was hunting for that map since yesterday evening. But it still don't count - despite the game was on before 4 p.m.
It's just a new tier of being unfair... I'm more than #@%ed up...

Yes and no. I was able to get 351 despite being with 12 PUG's (9 no-tags) against 3x 3-man groups. I didn't hang back til 4 enemies were literally waiting outside my spawn door on Vitric (I had 1600dmg by then).

The problem with most people is they thought living > *, but that only works if you're up a against a bad team & the only player doing it. It did nothing against the aggressive groups I played with - except make them angry, vindictive, and more deadly. It only worked for 3 PUGs on all the games I took screencaps of.

you have to finish the event within the time allowed, this includes time to update (15-30min). so if the event is over and it doesn't show, its not going to.
