Well, at least it was a good lesson how much to care in the future.

You didn't have to register.
You didn't have to win.
You just had to play and get more than 200. Period.
All I read on the forums and hear from my own team is, "I didn't max out the rewards and it was because of the lousy rotation!"
TOUGH LUCK!
You were given a gift! Show up and get paid!
...children.

Children?
It isn't a 'gift' actually. It's all business. It was a kind of marketing (as most events are in any freemium games) and it would get more players or more people to pay for this or that if it would be properly executed.
But it was so badly invented and the raising problem haven't been managed at all that it turned to be a negative campaign.
And even the reason behind being defrauded into wasting a weekend grinding without motivation on already finished maps while half of your team disco was to raise the playercount.
And it could work but finally what they got are a lot of frustrated players and - as I see and hear from different places - people even refunding stuff they ordered already. So PGI worked and payed (at least in in-game MCs) for somthing what even had a negative effect on them. And beside that a huge percent of the playerbase is angry and offended aswell.
Terrible marketing.
Btw you know, in a freemium game even if you are a pure free player you help them sell their stuff (that is what all the genre is all about), so you are a 'tool' and not a 'leech'.
No offense but what is childish imho is to think that anything is free gift or without a good financial reason in a game where you get a handful of paint colors for the price of a whole standalone game...

I didn't lecture nor getting into personal offenses. And I still think that offending their costumers was a silly move. And in this sense doesn't even matter they are right or wrong because players (costumers) are free to leave or just don't spend money (or as much money as they planned) on their product. And then being right or calling people this or that (noob, whinner, child, anything) just won't help at all.
But I see your point and overconfidence, I don't think there's any reason in this conversation.

There were a maximum of four prize packs.
2 for public queue, 2 for com warfare. to qualify for each you had to complete all maps, you did not get 1 prize per map.so you have received everything you were entitled to.

. . . wait, you're doing a bit right? Playing the domineering Liao Officer or something? Are you stroking a white cat right now? Wearing a noh mask and laminate armor? I can't imagine anyone typing that with a straight face.
