60% of the matches are on forrest and river.... caustic never came, hpg and turmaline just once in 5+ houres straight playing.

Don't get your hopes up...that shot of Caustic looks a bit foggy, we might be looking at yet more FPS-killing fog effects on newer maps, rather than less, especially if Forest Colony is anything to go by.

Well it's the first night in a long time where I actually have nothing to do and was going to get in some matches... Nope. Not after the last 2 hours getting murdered by LRM rain and having team members yelling and screaming at each other.
I've been playing pug queues for a long time, and I remember how yelling and screaming was a problem around a year ago. Then it vanished and people chilled out for some reason, but now it's exactly like it was. Why would I want to deal with that again?
Dammit PGI I thought you were going to improve things and make things fun again, improve your CW and make some kind of interactive story element. Nope, instead I've got the Battlefield and CoD kids coming out of the woodwork screaming at each other over kills & damage, and grown men berating their teammates because the enemy team out-flanked us. Lots of ECM and LRMs out tonight, never know if you are going to be the unlucky team that has no ECM while hell rains upon you. Holy shazbot, why would you do this?
I'm out, someone let me know when the bs is over.

Why on the Announcement and Rules page does it say we need a 200 match score and a 300 match score to get Tier 1 and 2 for Solo games.... but when I log in to see my scores that qualified it says the needed Match Scores are 300 and 400?

That's not really a tournament . . . that's spamming matches for the best score possible . . . or another way to put it is just manipulating probability in your favor . . . by laws of probability, overwhelming quantity trumps consistent quality if only the 10 best from each list count.
Here's another way to look at it . . . anyone can pull the lever enough times on a slot machine and eventually get the big payout . . . especially if there's no consequences for all the times you lose.
I'd say the #1 biggest thing they need to do is find some way to limit the tournament and control the utter spamming of matches, which dilutes the quality of the tournament. The competitiveness just dies (at least for me) when all you're doing is trying to bump your lowest match off the listing. To me that's not a real testament of your skill . . . that's just gambling on a "perfect match".
For two possible solutions either 1: Limit the number of matches that count (maybe the first 20-30 from each day) or 2: Start inflicting penalties on score for every 100 matches or so. That way you're not stopping people from playing the game, and people can still try to push the limits for those perfect matches. However, someone who plays 100's of matches will probably end up with a similar scoring to someone who only played a handful of very quality matches.
Just my 2 cents. I'm sure there are plenty of people who disagree with me and think these are the best things ever. That's fine. Everyone has their own opinions and tastes.

So in other words since match score depends on using large numbers of consumables and modules which you can mostly only get if you spend lots and lots of money, the top 10 among the biggest money spenders in the world get to have free stuff and the rest of us will be lucky if we can break 300 match score, let alone 400, on any significant number of maps.

where literally 3 people in their team got over 100 match
score, compared to 2 people in our team who had less than 200. i feel bad for the people who were trying to actually get points
