I have to agree trying to get 300 score is proving extremely difficult. I pretty much gave up trying to use heavies or assaults due to the queue.

So many matches like that one...

Keep getting the maps I don't need, so I just kinda fart around, and end up with 300+...then I get one of the 4 I still need, I forget to farm components, accidentally hit CTs and get kills, and just generally frak it all up, and end up with just shy of 300...

I was intending to ignore this event, but once I got halfway by accident I kinda wanted to finish..now it's making me hate myself and my life choices a bit..

just had another match where at team of 4 stood back the whole match while the rest of us did the fighting. Then they would move in to take out the damaged mechs then move to the back again.

PGI need to change the scoring value and remove the map rotation. I have had 7 matches on Emerald Tiaga so far.

Definitely taking a break for the night, possibly til monday...

Finally get a map I need, and the other team is all LRMs, so we rolled them too fast for half of us to get score, cept for our own LRM boats who sat lobbing the whole match while barely moving.

Not blaming the players for trying to game a poorly thought-out system, but damn guys...LRMs gimp everyone in this event. Either you lose too fast for either team to get scores, or the other team has them and you win too fast..it's a no-win.

Hopefully my luck changes on another day, would be nice to finish after getting 5/9 done...it's causing me OCD lol.

I spent ~20 hours of nolife playing to qualify the 2nd prize pack in public queue. And the main reason for such a long time is... forest colony.

I played about 8 games per hour. 20x8 = 160.
Nearly 160 games and just 3 Forest Colonies among these.
Am I the most unlucky man here... or ... ?

Its actually a pretty common thing at this point. I only need one map too (Crimson in my case) and so far all weekend I have only seen the map 3 times. 3 out of 100ish games isn't really that balanced a weighting if you ask me. The additional issue is that when people do get a map they don't need they tend to rush through the game, play carelessly in hopes to die fast and move on to the next game or just DC (which I'm sure was what the # of games DCing disqualifies you was about, too bad it wasn't working as intended). So at this point the most challenging thing about this event isn't the match score needed, its the random map selection (and to a lesser extent how much desire the other 11 people we drop with have to play on a map they may or may not already have competed a 300/400 matchscore game on). There has to be a better way to ensure people can play on the map(s) they need for this challenge than pure random luck.

Someone appears to be being naughty...

or maybe 24 someones.

Small tip of the hat to the fact that the winning team managed to get every single player their 400 lol

What does Audited mean? How can you audit people who play the game according to the rules of the tournament...? Conspiracy is afoot.

I'm tempted to find out how one man in that CW match got 7,000 worth of a match score...

After grinding pretty much all day, I'm going to say this, and this is one of the most negative things I have said about PGI's events...But this is rigged. It's rewarding players whom don't have a job or whom LITERALLY beat their heads into the ground to just get two kills. I got three kills, 531 damage, and many assists, yet I only got 383 match score. Really?

This isn't about skill, it's luck, and pretty much a gateway for 'farmers'.

PGI, this event REALLY sucks. It does, I'm sorry, you've done a lot for me but I believe people like me whom have pretty much grinded ALL FREAKIN' DAY should be compensated for this crap. Yes some of those people earned those Marauder packs, but seriously, this is UNCALLED for.

I can pretty much tell you I'v played about 30 or 50 matches today, you want to know my best score? 731 or so on Crimson, the others are all 300 score or more.

This is sheer grinding, and it isn't fun, nor acceptable. This is a disaster and it should be fixed...ASAP.

Angel out.

Just curious, do i need to have 300 for all maps to qualify for tier 1 or just one out of all maps?
