Also, ban every player that sits back and takes pot shots instead of engaging the enemy and playing the CW matches to win.

Someone appears to be being naughty...

or maybe 24 someones.

Small tip of the hat to the fact that the winning team managed to get every single player their 400 lol

im not so much alarmed by the scores than the fact that the map is grim portico.

along with emerald taiga, this map has come up so many times that its impossible to get scores anywhere else (no matter how impossible that is). pgi, its time to change the random seed on your rng. or find a better source of entropy.

I really hope PGI finally gets that you do not make SOLO challenges that can be played in GROUP queue.

Also where is Crimson Strait? I haven seen it in two days? 0 score.

Truly terrible idea.

Random maps, got to play on ALL maps to get reward and muppets rigging matches.

Ghastly.

The bannable offense was covered in the Code of Conduct "Exploiting/Griefing/Non-Participation" section which includes "Willfully or repeatedly taking advantage of an issue for personal gain". Since they are defrauding other users who are legitimately participating in the game and stand to receive a $ package which is a form of personal gain, it fits the description.

Then since PGI is a Canadian company, with customers in different provinces, not to mention countries, it would have needed to register such contest with a 'cash' prize with the governing bodies of the countries of origin of the customers.

In Quebec we have strict laws regarding such contests and by registering, then PGI could be protected under those laws.
But they haven't...

As it stands, the customer involved would win a legal battle against PGI on this matter,

Did they disable DC penalty because I don't see the counter anymore?

Yea it's nice that we still don't have dev tracker after 2+ years...

The requirement to hit the target on all maps adds nothing to this event except grind. We are not in control of map selection; what is the point of making it one of the criteria?

there should be an exception, if you only have one or 2 maps left (on solo queue), you get a higher chance to drop on them... would make things a lot less frustrating

Well, PGI supposedly reads the forums and feedback, or at least Tina does.

So I guess I'm going to throw my voice into the crowd. This event sucks. It sucks balls for its reliance on the RNG.

400+ points, I still can manage.

All maps? Bleargh...the grind...

If they wanted us to grind, all they had to do was add a requirement to play 100 matches. With random map selection and the rules we have now, there is a real chance of just never dropping on the last map that you need.

Indeed, the logic behind putting in a 1/9 chance for the right map is beyond my comprehension. There are people that are playing the challenge and WILL NOT get their reward despite the effort they put in. That is how chance works...

Hi Folkz,

for most off the players (me included) it would be impossible even if PGI made the Event:

make 400+ points in 10 matches doesn't matter on which map.

I made maybe 20 queue matches today.
1 over 300.
0 over 400.
