Currently cowardy rats thats ignore team will win MRD end of story i guess.(or ppl thats currently trolling PGI score calculation system. No way to get high score if you act as team and want put serrious battle to get fun to yours and enemy team. Now CW is symbol of rotten skinny tactis. Yes! Rejoice! Sorry for being too agressive but that's worst event i ever had - CW part for sure. Wanted to buy mara but right now i have stupid feeling thats Mara is defiled by this event.

Regards.

lol
Community Warfare
1. ExplosiveChild : 11,145
2. Kiboelt : 6,279

11145 / 6 maps = avg 1857.5 of score per map.
6,279 /6 maps = avg 1046.5 of score per map.

this is crazy

Well I've finally got my 9 pug maps done and just jumped into CW: I got less than 300 while some Highlander sat atop a hill the whole match, did 1/3 my dmg and 2 kills total but he got 450+ because he didn't lose his mech.

Great mechanic PGI.

Well if you can't beat them... leeching off my team here I come!

They did change up the points system when they started implementing 150-200 point requirements. I think PGI is essentially testing the player community's scoring capabilities to see what an appropriate amount is.

Honestly, I think 250-300 is good enough nowadays. 400 is just pushing it.

And oh yeah, my client is crashing more frequently now. Us EVE Online pilots have a joke about Crowd Control Productions' response to issue in-game...

"Working as intended."

I hope that phrase stays with CCP...

What point of changing it now? CW must not have any way of score like this. Hole for two teams selling match each other and spend maras packs between "winners" cause promo code can be easy given to anyone. Very very unwise PGI - you just forcing ppl to show their worst sides.

What is the current match score formule? It seems those numbers are pretty silly, more dmg you do the higher is the score, which means if you take a dakka mech and shoot your enemy in a random way all over his or her body you get more points than for a precise headshot or destroying a vital part of your enemy.

Yea, well, getting 1 kill, 9 assists and doing over 400+ damage doesn't seem to qualify the map. which is really. . .really. . . Lame.

Whomever dreamt this up. . . thanks for going total stupid.

The map cycle flaws don't make things any better...

For future reference, PGI:
-no more requirements per map, keep it per match
-no more disconnect punishments
-consider adjusting point qualifiers
-reward team play, like NARCing, ECM broadcasting, taking lance and company command roles, etc

Thing is- Disconnects are a big problem.
People DC and your team is down a mech. This hurts the eleven other guys that get /rolfstomped to a numerically superior force.

If you don't want to get disqualified, stop trying to run the game on a Commodore 64.

I'm sorry but when this game approaches the stability of any given C64 program...then you get to insult folks, I've seen way too many crashes on way too many high end rigs for any sort of consideration like this. Heck I still have tons of UI weirdness that happens just about every day still, UI elements stuck on top during the whole match leftover from Mechlab, etc. There's more but I have said enough to get the point across.

We you combine the amount of cheating, sandbagging, screwed up scoring system and jacked up map rotation, you get a perfect storm.

1) Players outright cheating=Hope all of them get a ban.
2) Players sandbagging=Fighting until they get damaged, then hiding the rest of the match, forcing team to carry them.
3) Sandbagger gets a better score for hiding, teammate who carried team gets worse score.
Scoring system. Bonus being alive or number of mechs left alive, combined with the above screws over the HONEST players. Knowing how the top players are getting good scores, I find it hard to respect them. Especially the ones I am in a match with and I see them sandbagging.
4) Map rotation, should NOT be random when you are requiring us to get certain maps.

*5) Lets add Ghost Drops in this a@@ pain evolution also.

Yeah it's like someone with zero playerbase experience dreamt up this clusterfrack. It's like they want to punish the casual folks as well, you know, those with kids, jobs, wives, husbands...who only get a set amount of time to partake.

After the map rotation repeats, chance drops on maps completed, after 2 hrs last night nothing was accomplished. Nevermind the people jumping in your fire line to steal a kill, everyone in a NASMECH racing to get the most damage on a target then bail before taking much themselves...this event is kind of a joke.

4 kills, 4 assist, 350 damage is 200 match score, while 0 kills, 8 asssist 570 damage is 400. Ye that makes totaly sense.

I really resent needing map rotation RNGesus to bless me, just to get a shot at qualifying. Then, I get 390 after doing everything right, high damage capping, etc...

Between the wonky scoring system and the random Maps, I can tell you right now I won't partake in the CW "half" of this event.

I prefer the previous events a million time more than this one.
