I don't know if anyone has asked this, but to me, there is one unclear point..
Do we have to win the apointed match score on ALL the apointed maps to get ONE prize pack, or do we win ONE prize pack PER map on which we acheive the appointed match score?
So, for the solo que for example, if I win on all the maps, do I get 2 milion cbills or 18 milion cbills total? (2M for each map)
It is very clearly said that you need the required score from all of the maps in rotation for this event, and you can check your results on the tournament page.

Some timezones get to start accumulatng leaderboard points ahead of others, and there is practically no chance the late-commers can catch up..
How am I supposed to be top-dog on a leaderboard that is designed to reward no-relationship, no-job, no-life players that can sit all night and day and play the game...
I'ts 8AM, and I'm at work now, just saw the tournament announcement.. and have no ability to play untill 11PM becouse of various real-life obligations, and people allready have 5000+ points.. there is no realistic chance I could ever catch up..
I'm not whineing, I'm just saying.. no-lifers have a distinct edge... your not rewarding skill, your rewarding not having a life..
Maybe you should make the leaderboard reward best score only in a certain number of matches attempted.. not best 10 out of a gazilion matches..
That makes absolutely no sense. 9 maps, or 6 for CW, and you need one result from each map. The event takes 5 days, if you can't catch up to other people based on their results from the first 10 hours, it's because you can't deliver the results yourself, not because they have too much headway after the, uhh, 7%(?) of the event. The ones who score best get the top results, fair enough. Complaining about time zone in a 5 day event is just stupid.
From previous events I remember top scorers getting their average top10 result higher than my single best result. And I'm pretty sure I'm at top 1% myself. If my single top result doesn't even reach the average result of top scorers, there is no much room for argumenting that it's a question of time, not skill. I'm also pretty sure that it applies to you too, your best score at any map will not be good enough for top positions. This is a competition, best players will win, calling for handicaps is kind of lame, and even if there was limitations on how many matches are counted, it probably would change results very little.

Also I have been 5 times on river city and 4 times on tourmaline so far, but never on viridian, caustic, hpg, mining colony or crimson strait. Please fix the map rotation and the DC issues.

damage is the key, not sweeping over anyone and grabbing a few kills.

Or does CW have a different match score calculation?
How I see it, you either do the pug queue challenge and grind your way through it or you go the CW route with a easier(?) score and better rewards.
Or is there something I forget?
Haha, you're going to love this:
CW has different match score calculations, but almost none of it matters. Why? Because there is only one thing at the end that realistically determines your score: how many times you died.
Every time you die, your match score goes down. If you don't die at all, you get 100% of the match score you would have gotten anyway. Every death after that seems to divide down until at four deaths you get about 25% of the match score you would have achieved normally. It's super easy to get 1000 match score in a CW game, just don't die! If you die once, you'll still probably get ~500.

Do you seriously believe someone can do 500 damage, 3 kills and 7 assists by "sweeping over" people?

No, you need the respective points on each map to qualify for ONE Prize Package. Altogether, there are four packages to be earned: Tier 1 PUQ, Tier 2 PUQ, Tier 1 CW, Tier 2 CW.

Why can't you catch up? You only have to complete 10 matches. If they are good enough, you'll be insta-propelled to the leaderboard.
I don't get it - when people do play the whole weekend, they are an asset to the game itself, making other people having less wait time. So, nothing wrong with people devoting more of their time to MWO having higher chances of getting a high-scoring match. IMO.

Yesterday evening (local time) I had a CW match on Emerald Taiga, got disconnected (in my 3rd mech), rejoined (luckily that mech was still alive) and did NOT get a strike for it. Maybe it helped that I wasn't even aware of the event? Dunno.

Please fix this DC counting error or it's going to be a pretty short tournament.

So if you pug in CW and get stomped like usually, you need around 2400 damage with those 4 mechs? well... I think I play something else this weekend...
