Making yourself a powered-down target is not working hard, no,

I think you read it wrongly (or I read you wrongly). It's the hunters that are being forced to work hard, not the hunted.

In any case ...

it is being nothing more than a rotting Easter egg under a stump that isn't discovered for months and when it finally is, it stinks of foul ammonia as its soul--its will to live--to survive, to breathe and embrace life... left it... long, long before.

Guess how the hunters would feel when they realize that at the end!

Yeah, I think you read me wrong. What I meant is--it is easy to kill a powered down 'mech. It is hard to kill a 'mech that uses Francis Marion tactics, shooting the whole time to try and win.

And yeah. Nobody likes a rotten egg. Phew.

That's a pretty terrible example, considering both men (in real life) were suffering from battle fatigue, or PTSD in modern nomenclature. Now, if you want to go to the VA and call people suffering from PTSD "cowads" then be my guest. But don't be surprised if you get punched in the face. By the way, one of them also had malaria, while the other was suffering from dehydration and was running a high fever.

In other words, your example proves even further how baseless your point is.

Furthermore, in MWO terms, I have won matches through strategic shutdowns, whether by allowing conquest points to hit 750 or by setting up ambushes. "I don't care" is not a valid argument, so stop throwing a tantrum like a spoiled man-child because your mech is locked out of another match for 2 extra minutes, especially if you don't even know why an individual is doing what they are doing.

Spoken like a good old coward. We aren't talking about winning conquest this way, we are talking about the guy that decided that wasting everyone's time by shutting down with NO weapons and no way to win the match was somehow a STRATEGY MASTERPIECE.

It's not.

I chew out people who rat out their team mate even if it is the other team doing it. The last man standing has the right to play out the match in any way he likes. Does he want to use guerilla tactics and split them up? Does he want to face them head on and let them have an easy kill? Does he want to power down temporarily or for the remaining minutes? Anything is fine. I got killed so I have to deal with it. I either spectate or launch another mech.

I have even seen douchebags ratting out their team mate while he is running around playing hide and seek.

I feel dirty doing that. The moderators have enough on their plates as is to deal with folks powering down to avoid combat when it can be settled by the warriors themselves in the drop.

I wish the rules would be amended to allow for that.

You are dirty, I have read enough to know that you bend any rule to suit your fancy. I now have a running bet you are in the next 64.

The rules are simple, no team treason. If you have doubt report it and PGI will sort it. No amount of movie quotes and bullcrap history will over come your ego which is more than likely based on youtube.

I judge on character. In your case you can shake whatever you like. I will bring a magnifier.

So you can toss around accusations on the forums but you can't stand behind your claims? You said right here that I'm a cheater. I know I am not. But you are afraid that you will be proven wrong and won't put your money where your mouth is?

Mud, to be fair, you generally judge on conspiracy theories...

If something seems unreasonable or beyond belief, you can be guaranteed to believe it and be ranting about it...

So, moral high ground, you have not.

That's kind of stupid on its face. The greatest conspiracy theorist is your own government. Here in the US it is the charge most leveled bar none in any prosecution. Pretty much all the western nations use it as a catch all also. Every detective is a conspiracy theorist and has to be. They search out based on a theory looking for hard evidence. So basically using that label as a put down just says your an idiot yourself who lack understanding. Or you just believe any crap that comes along as along as it comes from any perceived authority.

If you want to go full on double dumbarse name one I promoted that didn't turn out to be true. Synch drops? Cheaters? Proven and admitted.

Sorry your attempt as smear just makes you look like a dolt of the first order. Try something like a response next time. Maybe grow some intellect while your at it. Could be helpful.

Not an accusation just a guess. If you will bend the rules to suit your already well down that slippery slope. I may be wrong but your still self important and untrustworthy from where I stand.

You accused me of something. You are avoiding the issue. Pot calling kettle? Don't backtrack. I made a bet. Time to shake on it. If you are going to swing large things like that around here, you better be able to own up to them if proven wrong.

I'm not going to argue with you Mud, that's like trying to teach a 3 year old how to drive or discussing politics with them...

You've never proved anything on synch drops, and I've even seen you accidentally sync with one of your own unit, so I gotta laugh when you bring that up.

Actually, anything you post makes me laugh, so I guess you do have that value, I can use humor in my day.

You need to learn comprehension. I said I had a running bet you would be in the next 64 based on your need to bend the rules to suit you. Stop trying to deflect from your admitted need to circumvent the rules to your liking. That's the issue. If you can bend the rules as you see fit its not much of a throw to guess you would bend them as far as you can self justify.

I comprehend clearly what you said and now you're trying to backpedal. You bet--I took you up on it and upped the ante. Throw your chips in the pot or cease immediately with this nonsense.

No, it should be an automatic function that ends the match if one of the teams players are afk/disco for a certain amount of time.

The lack of a none-total-kill victory condition is the basic reason that this keeps on happening

Backpedal from what? I think your a creep and won't put anything past you. All based on your posting here. I am sure anyone else who reads your defense of breaking the rules to suit you can decide for themselves.

You bet I'm one of the 64. Do you not remember what you said? The sixty four. We all know what you meant by that. You bet--I anted up. And now you are trying to back out of the bet. Do not dare make such reckless, serious accusations if you aren't willing to own up and stand by them. Ante up or cease immediately.

Not just in this "game" but throughout history "generals" have employed this "tactic".Sending in tough shock troops first and then cleaning up with less than noble men.

The smart mechs that don't want to get caught doing it (powered down) just hang back and stay out of the fighting until 90% of the fighting is done. I see them in just about every match. Whether they are powered down or just hiding makes no difference to me, I count on it happening.

They wouldn't need to work so hard at the end if they worked even half as hard powered up and assisting their teammates with accurate fire.
