Greetings MechWarriors,
There is a major outage on the iiNet International transit link between Perth and Singapore. This outage is causing all traffic to be routed through Sydney. This routing change is causing additional latency for all iiNet customers and may be causing issues for players with other service providers.
At this time there is no ETA being provided by iiNet. We are monitoring the situation and will provide an update when one is available.
We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

I noticed significant ping issues yesterday on the OCE server, but did not know why, thanks for the information.

You go onto every thread and ask for Atlas to have more guns. Atlas doesn't need more guns. Want more guns? Run a King Crab.
What Atlas needs is quirks to it's surviveabilty. Armor and Structure quirks, but tuned for the mech. Atlas was only the King of the Battlefield on this game in the earlier phases of beta, and even then it was a walking CT.
I love my Atlases, and they have the perfect amount of firepower. Unfortunately they also have the perfect target drawn on that giant CT hitbox for anybody with half a brain and some ranged ballistics. Please, Puppy. Enough with the Atlas requests, it gets annoying and I'm 99% sure PGI won't take stock of a single person posting on every thread with a request that has no context to the thread.
EDIT: On the side-note, thanks for the heads-up. I was noticing slightly lower latency from here in Melbourne last night, was wondering if you finally managed to get TPG to play ball and fix the routing path from Sydney to Singapore via Japan. If they have, it's because of this.

The Dire Wolf will most likely be next on the chopping block.
I really don't want these Clan Mechs Nerfed or other mechs Nerfs whether they be Clan or Inner Sphere.
That being said...why not have an ATLAS carry 16 weapons just as much as a Direwolf to compete. The ATLAS max weaponry to my knowedge is 8 Hardpoints, the ATLAS is out gunned...even a Medium mech STORM CROW can carry i think max 13 lasers with mixing omni pods. The ATLAS is 100 tons, it should be able to carry more weapons than a Heavy mech 70 ton Grass Hopper.
Just add more guns....don't need quirks if you have enough guns to smash an enemy.

Without seeing your traceroute with the Perth <-> Singapore path intact, I'm going to guess that your route is considerably worse now. It's also possible that the egress point for Australia is far more saturated now and that the peering links are having a tougher time keeping up.
It's a pretty rough situation all around
