People hate having too small/too big and ugly weapons show up on their mechs, ruining the trademark look of them.

Yea, the change is interesting in weapons but often times it's not done very well and leads to...horrible looking alterations that don't need to be that bad.

It'd be pretty awesome, I think, that when we unlock the voice acting tier that they add a backer reward with a limited quantity that allows the backer to be a voice actor for a minor role or just a unit on the battlefield. This could also be an addition to maybe one of the higher tiers that get to visit the studio or become a character in the e-novellas as I think it would add a lot to the validity of the character and really reinforce that this community is the driving force in keeping Battletech alive.

I am pretty interested in seeing where it stands come Monday morning. Things slowed down a lot more than I thought they would over the last 24 hours. Lets hope for a big bump this weekend and next with at least a constant trickle the rest of the month before one more big bump near the end.

Friday paydays will boost it up each weekend until it is done. Once they get a few of these twitter and facebook side goals out the door I think it will boost things a bit too.

Kicktraq has them going to $11 million total if they keep up the current pace, but that only analyzes what has happened thus far.

Someone pointed out over on the Battletech (TT Game) official forums that apparently the total donated on day 4 of a game is usually a good indication of what the daily average will end up being. So when we find out how much gets pledged today? We can take it times 35 for a reasonably likely estimate of what the final total should be.

I'd feel bad getting you killed in-game, because i decided that punching an Atlas is a good idea. ;)

The Voice Actors guild would take horrible offense to this and possibly take legal action...

They said they wanted the system for variable geometry, not necessarily the one-model-fits-all weapon models that PGI thinks is enough.

HBS is more than capable of modifying 3D models and adding their own art assets.
