So you think high tier means mere XP bar? That I got to my current rating by just playing casually like the lot of ya? That you should belong up here with me, but the low number of matches are what is keeping you down there, with the rest of the scrubs? Well, prove me right cause I dare you.

I dare you to join this event and put weight behind your words. Words are easily written, but duels are far more convincing show of strength. Fate has it, this particular death match tournament needs only 11 more participants to get started so get your butt over there and sign up.
I am an honest man who appreciates the result of a good honest scrap. So here is an additional incentive for joining the event. If you are T2 or below who signed up for the event from today, and managed to defeat me 1v1 in the Compete for Cure tourney, I will gift you either one Origins IIC a-la-carte pack, or a regular Marauder pack. Solo-Queuer's honor.

Hurry up now lowbies and naysayers, the deadline is in 2 days. You don't wanna miss the chance of rubbing my words in my face.

It's a bit of a stretch to call yourself an honest man, isn't it? I think it's intellectually dishonest to claim that you're proving your premise by beating lower ranked players.

Yes and no. A 1v1 might show individual skill in that particular situation, but seeing as your PSR is supposed to show how well you work as a team(because that makes sense) fighting 1v1 is pretty pointless.

I would consider it, but I am from Ohio so doing anything for something in Michigan seems like a bad idea even if it is for the children.
That being said that tournament schedule doesn't work for me which is why I never signed up to begin with let alone for something as silly as measuring our {Richard Cameron} on the table. Perhaps sometime we can have a friendly 1v1 without silly restrictions.

Edit: I like the event, but I don't have the time. RL is too demanding for me to commit to duels with 100 other players. If anyone ever sees me in-game and wants to duel me then, that's fine though.

Best of luck for the Cure Event! I recommend the OP tone it down a bit since he may actually turn off potential players/contributors with his arrogance.

The funny thing in this thread is:

Duels say nothing about teamplay and very little about tactical skill.
They mostly express aiming skill, maneauvering skill and luck.

The latter three are actually hardly human-worthy (anything that can be done better by a computer is not a human-worthy skill), the prior ones are excluded.
So duels might be a fun and exciting thing to watch and do, but they hardly say anything relevant.

Its an glorified XP bar but you can pretend it isn't.

The tourney is....

COMPETE FOR THE CURE TOURNAMENT From Soulstrom.

El Bandito really wants to make this tourney happen, as do I.

If anything if you compete it'll be for something good.

Also El I'm already in it, so chances are I'll be going up against you (as a Tier 2) and will be waiting for you
