Found a post from June 2012 in which I refer to having posted elsewhere, so it's clearly not my first post... but the funny part is that I found a post talking about me from April 2012 even though I apparently didn't post in that particular thread.

I posted because the hit detection on light mechs "seems to be way off"... LOL! Had no idea about hitreg issues or the lag shield at the time and it was before any of the recent improvements were made. Hitreg is still not always great but it's 100x better than it used to be, good job PGI.

Easy way to find your first post...

Go to the Archive in General Discussion. In the grey bar click on Custom, then under "Show topic type" select "Topics I started". Click "Update filter" and BOOM! There they are. Note that the Archive ONLY stores posts from General Discussions, so if you posted earlier in another forum (like me) then this won't find your first post.

This appears to be my first post from June of 2012.

I believe there was a forum reset or layout change tegarding threads and sections. I cant find mines back in 2012?

Last one as per find content is from 2014.

My search does not go back far enough, but I"m sure I started a thread or at least posted back in 2012 closed beta. However, I'm 100% sure that it wouldn't have been anything positive.

You can't find them with Find Content; you can search the old GenDisc archive, or use google search with site:mwomercs.com

hmm... now after I read my supposed first thread I'm a bit sad. I got so many answers on the now some kind of naive question if I can mount PPCs on my founders cat... from so many players that are long gone. actually those aren't even 'players' because there was nothing to play at that time. however most of them are no more

On the bright side, I found some funny detail. Back then I was (and still am today) a big marauder fan, grayson's fault. And with it the PPCs, man made lightning, the only real future weapon in battletech.

And after all those (3) years and the ups and downs and endless builds for my beloved cat... guess what, I have 2 PPCs mounted, with some ML and ASRM6. So that fits the term devoted imho

Heh, my first tread was about a more immersive hangar experience with a player avatar. A sad, lonely thread, buried deep in the bowels of the Feature Suggestion section of the forums, uncommented upon and barely viewed. I wish I could search everything I have ever done, there are some good posts in there, some absurdly long ones, and amusingly awful ones. Despite being around long enough to remember when the K2 first became a hotbutton topic and the flame wars over pony related content I have made only a handful of threads, none of which amounted to much and only the first one ever meant to.

May page 10 forever remain confined to page 10.
