Thanks guys, I'm in, thrown a little into the account, I'll make up the balance of my invite costs, once I've cleared my Victor buys.

T4 went so fast, it was like travelling past something in a sports car at speed, and saying guys guys did you see that...damn..you missed it.

So I look like a newb, in a bright green Victor, and already want to take early retirement, can't remember the last time I had a w/l and a K/d of 5/1 in an assault, I don't expect to keep these, but damn it's making me Grin.

Now if only the thing could jump.

Oh and standard engines for the win !

Ok I just saw the weekend event, and I feel slightly ill, I could have saved millions of C-bills if i'd held back 2 days ..

OMG just looked at this sale. Bonus Challenge #2 is clan mech of your original weight class. Been thinking about Executioners. I don't really have the cbills but if i can come up with 3mil i may have to buy one at this price.

Why Executioners? well i did 3 drops in the trial EXE when i started this because it was closest trial to the Victor. Big gun, JJs not a lot of hard points, and very maneuverable. but then the bargain clan assault is the Highlander IIC. Another JJ assault with big gun hard points and almost 1/2 the cost. decisions,,, decisions

i know technically i can't start the bonus 2 til i finish the bonus 1, but a sale like this only comes around once in a great while. if i can find the time i should finish the last 2 RVNs before the end which should also get me the cbills i need.

sorry family i need to do this, the WMC is counting on me LOL

I really want to run my Victors and see if i can bust 500 on the leader board. i did break 500 with a 472 on the last RVN LB. about 1/3 of the score needed to get top. But i need to finish mastering these RVN and 3 Victories for 24hrs premium time can make this happen. maybe LOL
may have to sell the CDA2A(C) i got from one one of the challenges (PGI thx my VTR9K Loves the 340xl) need the mechbay but it is only worth 500,000 cbills in trade :-(

can't believe i am over thinking and getting this stressed out over a free to play alt account.

Hey peeps!

It's been a busy summer for me, so with limited game time comes limited gaming.

I did have a chance to log in for the Panther leaderboard, though. In the 35 games played, I placed 53rd.

I was faced with a choice: hoard my 16 million c-bills for mechs for which I had no mechbays, or purchase my first modules to make a remotely-credible run at the leaderboard.

A Radar Dep, Adv Seismic, and LPL cooldown module later, I was off and running.

I'm going to get an MPL range mod to kit out my scouting Panther (XL250, LPL, 3MPL). Gotta work with what I've got, after all

Mechbay update: 2 level 2 mechbays in hand, from Davion and Kurita. I'm with Liao loyalist forces for the time being. The loyalty bays I've already acquired are holding a second PNT-9R for the scouting build, and a PNT-10P for dakka trolololly fun and Panther-i-ness.

The next several bays, and a whole lotta c-bills, will be for my ClanTech lights. Probably going to work modules along the way too. [Edit: I'm also going to keep a mechbay open for the eventual Panther Hero, purchased with F2P MC. If it's the Pink Panther (no joke, see Sarna.net), the irony will not be lost on me. And I will run it gleefully, in case anyone's wondering.]

Anyone else looking forward to the 2016 loyalty program "participation award?" Those c-bills and mechbay are gonna be sweet! (So will the cupcake =^.^=)

so i went and done it. Bought an EXE B, the most expensive Executioner there is. but i saved over 6 mil Cbills. might be awhile before i get 2 more. these clan assaults are expensive. on the bright side it really dose not need much of anything. I get the feeling it has large targets painted on it some were. were the Victors were getting ignored this thing get a priority fire, unless there is a Kodiak or a Whale or an Atlas or something else around lol
