hooray finished the personal challenge with the RVN 4X except for the last KMD had to play 2 games in the VTR 9S to get the last KMD. is it just me or will supply caches not be real popular here? i opened one with the free key hoping for a mech bay but got an srm6. sold the other one. need my precious fee MC for mech bays. never enough mech bays.

our scientists have yet to figure out how to make a mech bay out of duck tape but they are working on it.

which brings up the weekly card game. open to all, just bring Cbills (BYOB i have seen some of you drink) and ideas for how to get mech bays....

Finally made the alt account yesterday cause I wanted to try something new.

I got the Victor and the name of the account is Victor 07 (very original, I know). I've played 3 matches and I'm already in Tier 3, which is frustrating because this account is stuck there and it seems like my alt account is going to blow past it now with the Cadet Bonus and everything...

One more match and I'll be able to buy my first Victor! Once my cadet bonus is over I'll definitely donate. Do you guys drop in groups often? And is it only QP?

so far it has been very spotty for group drops. like anything with this game, in the beginning we had a lot more participation. also with it being summer over much of MWO land player base is low. come Nov it may get back to where a few of us hook up.

anywhere you can get XP and cbills is allowable play. there is some rules on using trial mechs in QP and FW basically trials are ok till you can buy your mech in QP, not fully equip just buy. in FW it is a bit more relaxed but once you can field a full drop deck of your mechs you really should. used to be FW stats did not show up on your stats but now they do. the point of this challenge was to have nice clean stats just showing your mechs (challenge 1 and 2 and bonus) i personally have been a 2 victor 2 raven drop deck in FW but without an event FW pugging is hit or miss.

the comment about 12 victor drops has to do with the large number of players here who got victors and have found out that they really are not that bad.

a couple of our more active players have taken a hiatus from the unit. one is currently chasing the House mechbays. mechbays are the biggest stumbling block here as we spend no real money.

Yeah, I was a little worried because I've always heard the Victor isn't any good anymore but I actually really enjoy playing with it.

Tier and MM can have a lot to do with it.

I had some solid matches.... but before the nuked it band JJs in general, back in the day, it was a legit "carry harder" Mech, and my primary ride. Now, with everything else uberquirked, and so many high hardpoint alternatives out there... it's half the mech it used to be. If I get a semi decent team, I can still make it work.... but it actually takes a chunk of work.

Then again..I'm also the guy who is grinding a stock RFL-3N as my Stock Mech Challenge.... so hey... I'm having fun!
