You are free to drop in CW anytime As long as you take at least one of your mechs in your drop deck. I will pick up a faction next time I log in, probably Liao.

I like Loopala's idea of just rotating through all the factions. How do you guys feel about it, or do you prefer voting each time?

Ah, I loathe Liao, but we do need to get the mechbay!

Yeah, it might be easier just to cycle through the factions.

I will do some more drops on my Commando after dinner and after I drink so more Christmas cheer!

Well, my iphone 4s just gave up the ghost, so if I am a little scarce around here for awhile, it is just until I can get a replacement.

You are playing MWO on an iPhone4? Posted Image

I hope you all had nice christmas days :)
My personal christmas gift was the Hunchback "Grid Iron" for my "Sully" account! I had banked so much MC through events, i just had to buy it as my 3rd Hunchie.Posted Image

One question about the official 2nd challenge: Does the mechtype has to be the same weight, or only the same weightclass. Just curious because in my case, between an Adder(35t) and a Cheatah(30t), there are worlds!

finally got the basics done on the VICs

Posted Image

was kind of surprised by the xp i had built up on the 9S working it to get the cbills to buy the 9B

stats are so so. I attribute the 9B having the best stats due to being the last one. also all these things are Super Stock with the stock 320STD engine which i found to be ok. still too poor to buy another engine and not sure i want to

edited due to be half a sleep and now i am a wake going "WHAT!?!"

I think rotating might be best, fair that way.
And good to hear about cw - quad hunch action incoming!

Remember guys, Hero Mechs are still 50% off and Mechbays are on sale too, so now would be a good time to use up any MC you have banked from events!

finally a good game in the VIC 9K. just can't get the hang of the gauss in the VIC. but getting better. really helped to have a great bunch of pugs who work well together. we basically just put a line on ocean side of the arch on forest colony and rotated thru firing as heat allowed and focused fire any red that stood still too long.

35 team damage Posted Image but as we were walking back and forth with me zoomed out i guess i should be happy it was not higher or worse a team kill Posted Image

1 kill
6 ast
503 damage
7 components Posted Image

Spoiler

edited to get the spoiler tag to work, also not only can't i fight with a gauss, i can't spell it

mine went to an ac10 rather quickly because I couldn't click with a Gauss on the VTR, either.

Well, Happy New Year Challengers! I am glad to see you guys are still working on the Challenge. My New Year's resolution is to greatly reduce, or stop my drinking, since I have come to realise that it is a problem that I have trouble controlling. Unfortunately, the persona of "Ed Steele" is one of the triggers of my alcoholism (or at least only exists due to the consumption of alcohol). Therefore, I am retiring Ed Steele in all his forms and handing over the Challenge to Caesar (3x) completely (and for real) this time. I am not leaving MWO though, I still have my Clan account which seems to suit my sober mind better and maybe, when PGI implements the name change feature, I may come back to the Challenge under a new name (yes it is all in my head, but I need to be at peace with myself to control my drinking). So again, good luck Challengers.

Hey EdSteel what ever it takes man. See you when you get back.

Oh as someone who don't drink nomore, never a problem but noticed one day I had not had a drink in awhile and realized I don't miss it, life is still fun and the memories are a bit more in focus. Oh I still make stupid mistakes just different ones

HAPPY NEW YEAR out there in MWO land..
