Delicious. I never did a "revision" of the DC insignia because it was always such a strong, well-designed piece. It's just perfect the way it is. You, of course, have nicely recaptured it, kudos for doing the Sword of Light insignia as well.

Agreed with the perfection of the original. This is why it took such a long time before I decided to undertake it. Those K2 repaints convinced me this thread needed a slightly refreshed version (nothing more).

Hey Iron Hawk can you help me with the ISF/DEST Insignia? I can't find any high quality ones just scans which are pretty low quality.

After reading your comment, I thought I'd try a more 'symbolic' version... Then it occurred to me minutes ago... "Just what exactly is that dragon doing to that planet...?" Soooooooo, an executive decision was made to remove the hind legs. Final result:

You are right. There can be only one. I thought however that the shark was the one used for a later era... (Typical camospecs, sarna references).

EDIT: Just searching for inspiration because I am getting bored, man... Like when I worked on those Rakshasa and White Tigers mech skins and insignia... Can't wait for the next 'Mech concept art to come out. :-)

Naw, truthfully I think that with the retcon the Shark replaced the horn. I'm just a bitter man refusing to let the dream of a (pre-retcon) mercenary Amphigean LAG die out.

So I tried a new look for the insignia, while still remaining within the same lines and the description of a skeleton in a dark cloak... Here's the result (some tweaking still required):

Just awesome. Totally fits. I tried to go back as well, but could never get it to look right. You, however, have truly done it justice.

Alright, here goes nothin':

Internal Security Force: (tried to keep it as close as possible to the real thing while reusing my DC insignia)


Draconis Elite Strike Team: (replaced the more or less defined snake or dragon with lizard legs with a stylized fire salamander scheme; hope you like)
