Great work Hayden. I always love the colour shades you use in the logos. You tend to use warmer shades which translates really nicely over to the logos. Many of the original, official logos IMHO have poor colour choices that can be very cold or harsh.

Thank you, sir!

Glad to see some more DCMS representation so I can re-familiarize myself with the units I'll be crushing. ^_^

We like dreaming on this side of the border, course we did dream for several hundred years for a nation of our own. Guess dreams do come true after all! (Dont mind that atlas behind you, its just the clasic ambush atlas, and there is no reason to believe you are its target....)

SPOILER ALERT!

It's not the Atlas I'm worried about.

Alright, not a "full set" tonight, because I am verrrry sleepy.

First off, almost everything tonight takes a fair number of liberties. I'd say that some of these move a bit beyond FANON into the "conjectural/suggestive" realm. Bear with me.

15th Benjamin Regulars - instead of random gold barbwire on a black field, I have a Benjamin Trident (they say it's a dagger, but I'm working off older images, which appear to be much more like a trident) surrounded by barbwire. I was going to alter it's layout to make it look more "random" but I accidentally destroyed the original .psd... so unless someone really wants this to be altered, this is just what I'm going to go with.

17th Benjamin Regualrs. I changed this one, it now uses the same colors as the other Benjamin units, but arranged differently and is in a circular shape, instead of rectangular. My chief reason for these changes was because of the striking similarity to the Regulan Hussars insignia, which was nearly identical aside from the shape of the lightning bolt.
Posted Image
Red Lancers Insignia - I changed the colors on this after trying to get it to look more unified. I wanted to keep the original colors, but it just wasn't to be, it just looked too busy. Otherwise, it's been simplified a good deal.
Posted Image
Dynasty Guard insignia this is pretty close to the origional. I was unsure of colors, so I used black and the colors of the Capellan Hussars insignia, the parent unit. I'm happiest with this one.

Capellan Hussars insignia. I've never really decided/figured out what that thing over the circle is supposed to be. I think it ended up looking a bit spider-like.

Alright, hope you all enjoy. Goodnight all.

A work in progress (first draft), but I figured I'd share. Utilizing the format Hayden had set up, I did my best to copy it. We don't have our awards all settled yet, so maybe that will be a page two, or I'll expand it and put it at the bottom. Working version is twice this size, didn't want to explode browsers.

Do not worry Hayden. He dreams about lot of things: Conquering Draconis Combine, Stopping Clans at the FRR borders, Forming his own unit, Getting to know my motives, etc. -_-

Keep on trolling Adridos, I still have more posts than you, I know how much that bothers you.

And now I have official reason to hate FRR. No Dihm, I do not troll and I hope you do not too. -_-

Why do you think only thing I want to do is to have "more posts" than you?

EDIT: Water under the bridge now (I bet you do not know what does it mean B) ).

I would disagree with your "I don't troll" comments, but to each their own.

You don't like me, I don't like you, call it done and back off. If you want to take this further, take it to the Faction section or PMs if you'd please.

Edit: Issues resolved, water under the bridge

Oh by the way Hayden, I found the Battletech Oldstyle font over on Sarna, in case you need to get it again in the future or someone else wants it.

Good find, and frankly amazing work on the Insignia Recognition Chart.

I did a hell of a lot of alt-tabbing between mine and yours trying to line things up. B)

Let's hope this inspires more people to do it too. These would look awesome in a MRO - Mercenary Readout!

Fantastic project! Great work so far!

I would love to see some more Marik units here, so many great insignias to choose from...

How about 25th Marik Militia?

The only color insignia I have ever been able to find for the 25MM is this tiny, blurry, crappy 60x60 icon on Sarna...

Is... is that pink supposed to be the Marik purple? Or is it really pink. B)

Marys sure have interesting colors.
