Cockpit looks pretty good, I hope the screens aren't all just full of oscilloscopes. Heat gauge, pilot vital signs, ammo counters, there are plenty of practical ones I hope they implement to some degree.

:blink: Am I the only one that thinks we need a longer large laser barrel on the top shoulder mounted energy hardpoint to keep the iconic three main weapon look of the Marauder when sporting two arm ppcs and one additional Large Laser or PPC torso mounted?

And am I also the only one that thinks the AC10 is hilariously oversized and stuby? :huh: I mean come on PGI those are modern autocannon barrels not some middle age mortars or train tunnels.

Right now I would feel strange mounting something different than an AC5 or Gaussrifle on my Marauders shoulder because the other weapon geometries do look so strange.

Oh and a big salute to the creators of the Marauder House Parade Patterns! The new clean look is awesome! :wub: (without all those inscriptions/warningpatterns) Way to go Lauren & Jonty! :)

P.S.: Any news on the pattern generation project?

Not all of them have to look the same... it's nice to have some variants look different. I'm all for the current energy hardpoint there...

I know most people probably won't see it. But the Marauder (this rendition anyways) reminds me of those big red spider bosses on Quake 4.

Holy freaking crap! Those are some pretty badass cockpit items! :D Bravo guys, bravo! Love the new standing item especially! The warhorns look sweet... but they sound kind of meh ^^; I dunno what i was expecting them to sound like though... Still, I'm gonna equip them just for the glory of their spectacle!

Also... the ability to preview warhorns and movement effects?!? FINALLY! :D (Or... was that already in there and I never noticed? o.o)

Those phoenix items look amazing, though I'm less than thrilled with the music from the warhorn. I was sort of hoping for a fire or bird cry effect (or both, really).

I love them cockpit items. Also seeing the screens FINALLY working. I do hope you get ALL mechs screens working befor Steam launch. It will give the game a more finnished feel.

I'm excited about this mech. I am more excited that the screens do something even if it is useless. They remind me of Mechwarrior 3; everywhere in the cockpits of the MW3 mechs is subtle gauges and bar graphs and stuff. It's more immersive. Good job PGI!

A long time ago(around close beta), we had working ammo counter, kill counter, and heatsink status monitor s on a few meals. I think they were disabled after official launch

I'm liking most of what I see, but damn that third ballistic mount on the MAD-3R. What was the guy thinking? That is close to the most objectively worst spot to place the third ballistic hard-point from both aesthetic and combat usefulness perspectives.

kill counter never worked for me. Heatsink and amo counter did... sometimes :P

But this new killboard looks good. Wil be useful in conquest where you don't have the kill counter on top. Now we only need a company screen on the other side to see how many of the own team still live.
