STARTS: November 25th at 10:00 AM PST (6:00 PM UTC)
ENDS: December 1st at 10:00 AM PST (6:00 PM UTC)

Greetings MechWarriors,

From November 25th until December 1st we'll be running a Personal Challenge Event for both the Quick Play and Faction Play game types.

This Event is based on cumulative personal goals, with distinct reward tables for both Quick Play and Faction Play. This Event runs alongside the Black Friday MC Sale, the Black Friday Hero and Champion 'Mech Sale, and the Double XP/Double XP Conversion event, so this is a great chance to maximize your rewards and your buying power!

Check out the Goal and Rewards tables below for all Reward items and conditions. These Goals are cumulative, so achieving a total of 5,000 DMG in Quick Play matches before December 1st at 10:00 AM PST would reward you with the listed Cockpit Items. Likewise, racking up a total combined total of 5,000,000 C-Bills in Faction Play matches through the course of the event will reward you with an additional one-time reward of 2,500,000 C-Bills.

The cumulative aspect of each Goal only applies to its specific table. For example, you would need to acquire 15 Kills specifically in Quick Play to receive the Radar Deprivation Module.

Okay, those are some super badass rewards :D And the gametype requirements are trivial enough so the voting system won't really get in the way... Bravo! I REALLY want a Cameron Star Warhorn... and with an extra 1000 MC, maybe I'll buy a Hero mech... if I can think of any I actually want o.o

It's too bad the 2x XP isn't next week.... would be great for getting my Marauders up to snuff :P

Its 1,2 or 3 victories in each game mode. It shouldn't be a big problem to achieve that...And the most important awards (MC, modules, items and colors) are not game mode dependent...

Faction play is Community Warfare.

The sale page only says conversion, THIS page says double XP accrual.

Faction Play is the new, more correct term for Community Warfare. Community Warfare was a filler term for a concept waaaay back when. We all just kinda kept with it. Just a change of name to make it obvious that the former "faction" tab, was a place to play, rather than just pick an emblem.

Hmmm....finally free stuff in a challenge event that i guess sounds good.

Unit Coffers being funtionaly would be great.....and a 16 Weapon King of the Battlefield Atlas.

I always love events and this seems to be quite fun. No hassle to get the last missing map or something like it...

But, it seems weird that you're actually worse off if you've bought some of the colors with real money. All the other stuff is perfectly fine since you'll get just more of it.
But colors are unlocked on a global basis.

So, staunch supporters of the game have a few goals less to aim for.
Too bad MW:O didn't implement a mechanic to choose a free color of your choice. Or a pattern.

As much as I hate being that guy who corrects every mistake made. Just to avoid confusion, I assume you actually meant December 1st?

In addition, as an idea for future events, an event countdown at the top of the event page would be greatly appreciated as it removes the need to do time conversions and would be globally applicable. Days, hours, minutes and seconds are also more useful than just hours, minutes, seconds like on our challenges page.

I love this event, great work PGI - not only do we get sweet freebies for playing, but double XP conversion AND a sale.

Glorious weekend! :D

Completing an event that hasn´t started had me wondering aswell.

Also: http://mwomercs.com/clock ;)

edit: Not saying clock is in any way userfriendly, just that it´s there.

The colors alone are a huge deal. I can't remember the last time they offered those as rewards. They aren't cheap, get em while you can. :)

Thanks for that. Was aware of the clock. But I am sure it will help others. :)

I felt since they are launching soon on Steam, that a confusion proof version at the top of each event page in future would help the new users of the game. Also whilst they are at it, they could add some social media share links (Facebook, Twitter etc.) as well to assist spreading awareness of the game.

1 Victory in Conquest
1 Day Active Premium Time
2 Victories in Assault
1 Day Active Premium Time
3 Victories in Skirmish
1 Day Active Premium Time

That is NOT GOOD for the event.

Love the event, but the victory requirement is poorly thought out. Requiring 3 victories for Skirmish is just going to result in majority votes for it at some point to the exclusion of Conquest and Assault.

I'm starting to think that whoever comes up with these events has a serious lack of foresight. Have you not learnt anything from previous events about putting in conditions outside of an individual player's control?

Edit: To be fair, at least the reward of a day of Premium is one that I don't mind if I fail in though.
