as the description suggests, the game is for the hardcore fans and blah blah blah, it's also a fine marketing scheme.
As a kid i remember playing Mechwarrior, just being enamored with the PPC and its energy-balled goodness, but when I first started I had no clue what I was getting myself into, no person who owned a copy that could lend it to me before I made the decision to get it, but in the end I wasn't disappointed
I'm willing to trust the developer because their videos show that they wanted to implement alot of depth into the game, and I've no doubt with the funding, are willing to expand on that and make an overall better and even more polished product as the game gets older
