you know something is wrong when they nerf an entire skill tree for just 1 or 2 chassis then give massive agility quirks to the rest of the 20 to 30 mechs.

My already-good 4x ERLL Orion is going to be tough, but more exciting is that maybe I can use my Victors again. Maybe.

My only problem with these changes is that inner sphere now dominates long range... that just feels wrong for the clans.

I'd give all then clans 10 truedubs to start... then adjusted the C-DHS to have 0.17 dissipation with maybe 1.0 or 1.1 heat cap.
Also, i'd have left the cooldown unchanged for IS gauss while doubling its HP and reducing its chance of explosion to 40%


Well they still have 10 truedubs, and the 1.1 heat cap amounts to a little over 3 less heat capacity. Seriously.... it is hardly a nerf, with the increased dissipation. I barely noticed the heat sink changes on the PTS.

The PTS 1-3 made me hope for a more extensive change in MWO's gameplay system. Alot of the stuff was really nice, nicely thought out and would have just needed the time to be tweaked enough. Now we're stuck with the old quirk system again.

Why drop from Tier 4 to 5? TMK, they play against the same people.

What is the purpose of reducing LRM Spread? They already do max damage anyway 95% of the time, something I did not know before, and, with ECM changes, may need fixing. Spread reduction on all Missiles asks why use Artemis too.

Why are SHS in the engine less effective that those outside it? DHS in the engine are more effective than DHS outside it so.....

Liking new Cockpit Item screen especially how I can filter out all items I don't have.

Someone got way too attached to their mechs. Play any other MMO's? I can't think of a single one that doesn't have ongoing balancing. Maybe you can provide an example? If not, you have nothing to complain about. Especially since there was zero guarantees your mech were going to stay the same...unless of course you can provide a source that said differently?

So, let me get this straight...you wish the creators of the game that you play to lose their real life career jobs because you don't get your way. I'm picturing a toddler screaming at the top of their lungs because they didn't get their bottle of milk or their diaper changed.

Not getting milk okay; they can have water instead. Not changing their diaper; that's wrong. Not to mention unsanitary and stinky.

Haven't really done any pts, but am hopeful that I will like the changes. Though assaults should probably get more armor than structure buffs. With them less able to deal with lights on their own it just means it's more important for teams to stick together and do teamwork. So what else is new?

If you look at the IS quirks, they have added a few more IS mechs with 25% Energy range, which means more IS mechs able to boat ER-LL out to 911m (That is more range than any Clan laser btw)

Yup, there it is your promised re-balance made with a giant balancing matrix that took into account several factors of each individual variant in existence, with the input of players in mind, after a large numbers of PTSs and only released after we all agreed that is strictly better than Live status. As you can see PGI has again kept his very valuable word.
But hey who cares? They charged you money for yet another mech, it is releasing at the same time and this one is an unseen!, so yeah no one's gonna notice.

Nope, IS has had the range advantage ever since Quirks went into play so Clan lost its range advantage already, this is just nails in the coffin.
