It wasn't intended as a personal attack, but an observation ... the competitive community (and I include myself in that group) has been tweaking the "perfect balance" of heat-to-damage with Clan weapons for about a year, and that combo was near the apex of the laser vomit meta ... i.e.: part of the problem.

The changes sound hard, however it seems I am not that hardcore into deep player - because for me it feels still like the same game. I still enjoy it!!!!
Monitors - a nice start, however at the moment they dont display anything needfull which is ... a pity.
Voting - I remember it was a long issue and discussions if t would work in wot... You showed it that it works!
However 20 seconds is too long. People start to jump around to manipulate too much, to get a high multiplier etc...
Some of the changes in mechlab are ... annoying fluf. When I see flipping mechs on selection i think wtf.
Who took time to implement this instead of ...
* why when changing filter on mech class the mechs are collapsed??? When i narrowed down to exactly one category (IS - light - owned) which is in 99% the case why it is presented collapsed??? EXPAND IT, Or give me 1MC for every useless click!! (Soon Misery would be mine!!!)
* i play around with camo, prefer to use one shot, then i choose color, filter to owned... after some trials i switch back to pattern which is then "owned- oneshot" ... i see nothing ... you dont own oneshots - you apply them ... in case of oneshots that filter should be disabled... and always all oneshot camos should be displayed.
* why i cant access the battle results for the recent battles from the home screen?? every other mmo i now has that
* when typing messages before battle, on ready screen, why this is gone when battle starts and i have to retype again?
that happens so often to me
* why the client crashes so often when i alt tab? I noticed that has to do sth when home/dropship switches to battle interface while mwo is in background - plz work on it! Of course none waits X minutes in the MWO client starring at "searching" ...
All in all - i enjoy your game - but there are many small annoyances in the client outside the battles, which could be surely fixed and make mwo a better polished product.

If you're going to leave the game then do it, and do it quietly please; enough with the self-righteous grandstanding. I'm not sure why you would try to steer people away and potentially damage the game for us who do enjoy playing. That's just childish.

NO NO NO! SplashDown mate, u got it all wrong! After yesterday's patch i can only but feel buffled and amazed by the Complete and PERFECT understanding this development team has about the game's mechanics and with minimal testing in the field! I have only but congratulative remarks to give out! So, Dev. team here it is;
Congratulations on the last patch! Everything feels to be amazingly balanced right now! The Blackjacks are decent mechs now,especially the 1X, the Banshees are right on the money, the Battlemasters too, especially the 1S! Finally, the BlackJacks can compete against the Shadow Cats, the Banshees against the Executioners, the Black Nights against the Timberwolfs, and ofcourse the Atlas against the Dire Wolf. And if i may be so bold as to suggest that, Clan mechs may need a little tiny bit more nerfing on their agility (maybe some neg. quirks on turn rates, acceleration/decelaration) and heat management, then we would achieve the ultimate Balance in this game!
Once again, Good Job! Keep up the AWESOME work guys!

Can you spell "BIASED" ?
If yes, can you alternatively spell "NEUTRAL BALANCE/ UNBIASED VIEW" ?
What I see is more of the likes of giving a turbulent child some sweeties to shush it up for a few minutes .

This same solution can also be applied to the global highway crisis - all we need to do is get rid of the cars and go back to riding horses. Problem solved - right?

Stuff like this and the BJ vs Vindy changes that buffed the doesn't-need-buffs BJ to still be better make me think part of these changes were based on what Mechs were played in the various recent PTSs.

I'm with others and would like to know if this will be retroactive.
Less so for me, and more for my fiancee and other recent players.
She finished her Cadet Bonus sometime last week, so this really sucks for her.

PGI I love the game. Thank you for all you are doing. It's a hard position that they are in. Trying to cater to the lore of MW and the average game. Lets face it guys and gals. Lore only matters to the few. PGI needs players to fund this project. Balance is much more important than lore. So please quit trying to kill an unfinished game with all the negative poste. Give some constructive feedback to PGI. Help them, don't beat them down. I for one would like MW games to keep being made.

Yeah, was really hoping to see someone do something about the flamers, anything really. Machine Guns are ok in range, but damage could be abit more.
