Why, why, WHY would you guys decide that this is a good time for such a big event?!!?!?
They are doing this prior to the map reset as a last Hurrah! for the current map, and possibly to test the new balance pass since all matches will be Clan vs IS (instead of mixed tech).
You are a scholar, you should have been able to figure that out.

Yes exactly this. I don't remember exactly how the first battle played out but I know the Clanners won. I wonder if IS wins this one. If they do it means i was on the losing side both times lol.

Having a back to back CW event grinding is not interesting at all. The prizes should have been better (or equal to the last) and not less than the previous event if you're going to run this.
The Quick Play half was really enjoyable and we really thank you for that. It even brought out our casual players back. The CW half was a slog and only bearable due to prizes and smaller wait times (not 30+ minutes thankfully) The ONLY Negative: Again we have the 12 man premade's stomping a co-ordinated stomp vs. the random PUG scrape (of which I was part of.)
This isn't even worth posting to our Gaming group page. Sorry we're gonna pass on this one its not worth the waste of time and superfluous banners and cockpit junk.
Thanks again for the last event, it was quite enjoyable. This would be just another grind/stomp fest.

EDIT:
I like the cockpit junk generally. The only ones that don't make sense are the coffee mugs. I understand why they were made, but when I was showing this game for first time to a friend a while ago, the first comment he made about the game was "Why doesn't the coffee spill?"

and who wants a banner for a loss ?!!!!
and who ends a event when most of your player base is offline ?
I loved the last bs, YES YES YES YES YES
Picture it as a war memorial, who wants to wear a poppy in remembrance of all those who have fallen in the battle of Gallipoli by the ANZAC forces in world war one? Literally nearly every New Zealander, Australian, and even some of the Turks!
Memorials? Remembrance? etc? I am quite happy that one of the most significant battles for the clans and IS in the clan invasion has an item that's basically fitting that bill, I wouldn't mind if it was something more symbolic like most memorials in the past 100 years. Maybe a native plant to Tukayiid. Such as it's wild grass as it has LOTS of that there as Tukayyid is mainly great green plains. But either way....
BUt it isn't when most people are offline? Note: even if it is. It doesn't matter because the 'minority' can't change what the majority did earlier right?

Sadly, 3051, on the bright side we're a month away from 3052 so it's kinda all good?.,.. better than having the battle of tukayyid in mid 3

IIRC the battle would swing in the Clans favour during the US primetime, then back to the IS during the Euro primetime.
Not really, I remember vividly that some units had members stay up between 12 to 24 hours and/or drinking beer and coffee for a hard final push by some semi-major clan wolf factions which I tagged along in the end and they won nearly every game. (besides the 1 tie we had...). Oh and the clans won when it wasn't "US" primetime...

Weeeellll. For me, It's in the first third of my summer break, where I got nothing to worry about besides eating and drinking more than once a week. Also correct me if I am wrong but in the northern hemisphere... isn't the finals already done like 5 or 6 months ago?

Terra*, on top of that PGI missed the ball with that one, Clan wolf kinda already entombed it. (PGI should have gave a reward to clan wolf for that =l)
Maybe next year.

Or the unit wishes to fight for a different faction, but now stuck on contract.
72hrs would be too long to wait to change!
I think this is a test, but at least think about the players and where they would like to be!
