Its kinda too early.. but hey, that just means we can hope for something even MORE EPIC for those time slots..
Steam release is supposed to be the ONE BIGGEST EVENT EVAH since the game got created.. so they better give us all the buzz, hype and joy of such a big thing happening..
I'm not mooching for more free stuff, I just think it should have its due.. and since this Tuk2 is not it.. well.. something else should be.
And just as a small note..
The Wolf's Dragoons DID help the IS.. their mission was to scout, but also to prepare the IS for the coming invasion, and to delay the invasion for 30 years..
Clan Wolf is a Warden clan with some Crusader elements that eventually reared their ugly faces after Tukayyid, and during the War of Refusal..

That 3500 match score is a deal-breaker.
It was quite a challenge for me to find enough time to get the 4000 CW score that was needed for the last event.
My CW match-scores show a really high fluctuation.
Last night for example in 3 matches I had: 1 match where we got stomped, pitiful score, and 2 matches where I got above 200 score.... its going to be a real disappointment when i score above 200 and only get one point....

Having a back to back CW event grinding is not interesting at all. The prizes should have been better (or equal to the last) and not less than the previous event if you're going to run this.
The Quick Play half was really enjoyable and we really thank you for that. It even brought out our casual players back. The CW half was a slog and only bearable due to prizes and smaller wait times (not 30+ minutes thankfully) The ONLY Negative: Again we have the 12 man premade's stomping a co-ordinated stomp vs. the random PUG scrape (of which I was part of.)
This isn't even worth posting to our Gaming group page. Sorry we're gonna pass on this one its not worth the waste of time and superfluous banners and cockpit junk.
Thanks again for the last event, it was quite enjoyable. This would be just another grind/stomp fest.

He's right. Pugging it in CW absolutely BLOWS!!
PGI, please, for the love of whatever deity you worship over there, please fix the CW match making. I would love to try this event, however, getting my ass handed to me and whatever team I am on in nearly every match, is rather disheartening. It is a morale breaker. It is depressing. It makes me want to go play another game where the frustrations are less.
There is nothing quite like noting the opposing team is all one faction.
Do you smell what I am stepping in yet?
So man up and try your best, or do the smart thing. Go to the recruitment area, find a unit and join. Get TS and a mic (first one is free, other one you can get cheap at amazon) and be one of the stompers instead of getting stomped.
I'm happy in a active german speaking Unit. If you live in GMT +1 Timezone and speak German fluent come and join.

(from this amazing topic)
I wish waiting times will be kind for Inner Sphere.. Anyway, i'm eager to play this event.
Oh, that's an amazing picture.. props to the artist..
Now that reminded me of a funny thing about the battle of Tukayyid..
The two cities that Clan Wolf conquered were named Skupo and Brzo.
The names of the two cities are actually Croatian / Serbian / perhape even Russian or generally Slavic words that literally translate as "Expensive" (Skupo) and Fast or Quick (Brzo).
The funny part is that during the battle, taking Skupo was quite costly in terms of loses on both sides, while Brzo was a fast victory after the loss of the Clan Wolf Khan.
I find the names of the two cities not only symbolic, but kinda funny too..

They had the advantage of making dummy accounts to drop against so they could secure wins without having to fight.
Is this a fact or just a blatant, unsubstantiated accusation? Cose' that's a pretty serious accusation.
If you can prove it, than the people that did that should be disqualified and their accounts banned.
If not, then you should get a warning against slandering and name-and-shaming an entire unit. And a top-level performing one at that..
Just saying..

For BoT1 I was loyal to House Davion of the Inner Sphere. I usually switch between them and Clan Wolf because I like to play both technologies in CW. I hear people talking about playing CW as a mercenary, but every time I try to play CW (even outside of events) I cannot drop until I join a faction. Maybe I have missed a Mercenary option there, but I don't recall seeing one. I'd really like to know how to drop in CW without a faction since based on many posts it is possible.
Other than being excited all I can say is I wish there was a little more warning so I could have broken my contract and competed as Inner Sphere as I did in the first one. Then again in the first BoT Inner Sphere queue times were pretty terrible, so maybe this time I will get more drops in less time?
