Willing to bet, most of us do not. Some of us like the fact we can look at each mech on it's own merits and decide, rather than be forced to buy a crappy mech to get the ones we want, because a la carte is for idiots, in most cases.

Same number of mechs being released as before, more freedom and better early adopter rewards in total, for us to do so.

So sorry you have to look at new mech art monthly, so terrible!!!

true, though similar cockpit height has not made the Stormcrow appreciably more shot at in the torso.... a fact that constantly amazes me, TBH. Though the archer wont have the speed or wonking gait to help.

If Russ and crew are smart though, it will get some heavy structure/torso buffs.

Archers are known for being plain jane vanilla combat platforms, reliable, but not remarkable. So aside from maybe some missile heat generation, I think it should be mostly defensive quirks to help it emulate it's tough and reliable reputation.

I also hope for the 5S rather than the 2S because i would have some missiles in the arms...lob LRMs at target 1 and blast target 2 with SRMs would be nice.

Or they fix the 2S and 2W and place the missiles right from the beginning into the arms

Six Gun I am fine with, but so far as I know, we have what one possible Kell Hero atm...I think they tried to claim Quarantine was Salome Ward?

And Morgan Kell is arguably the most famous Archer Pilot. So I have no qualms if it's him. That said, we do have more than enough Wolfs, already.

Quarantine was Salome Ward's? I never saw anything suggesting that, though it was the canon pilot I wanted. Awful 'mech, terrible paint job ... one of the few heroes I sold back.

They've been going pretty iconic with the Reseen heroes. Bounty Hunter, Kerensky, Legend Killer. I'm betting we'll get Kell. I hope they don't give us a 40K skin like Legend Killer or beat it with the ugly stick like Quarantine or Jester.

Art is sexy as always but I'll wait to see that in games models before getting excited. I got excited in the past just to have the model come out looking like poo.

Nice to see more of the classic mechs though.

Yeah, it will be down to how the in-game model looks. Like, the art for the Centurion looks hellacool, but the in-game models... is really wide, which looks, well, not as good at all.

Well, hopefully, that means maybe they'll bring back missile doors for mechs like the Centurion (oh how much i miss those 10 individual doors we had, it was such an awesome design and i'm so pissed they f*cked it up so bad)

I was thinking the same name - I've foggy recollection of reading on Morgan Kell's fights in his archer in the old school Blood of Kerensky series of books when I was in HS. I'm ready for the Archer. Marauder > Warhammer > Archer > Phoenix Hawk and I'm set. (Sorry Rifleman and Crusader)

ya lol, it's in the ct which is odd. I just leave that hardpoint empty because i don't like the delay on that rack when I alpha and I still get the 10% damage resistance or whatever they boost when closed.

Interestingly, none of the clan mechs have missile doors. IDK if that's a lore thing or what

I find the Archer terrible. Like the cockpit...is out of scale. I prefeer have the cockpit higher.

I'd even want the current Archer's cockpit for the Marauder too.
