Guys, if you're going to be salty, DO something. No point sitting back with criticism and simply saying "you're wrong" if you can't say what's right.
It's intellectual cowardice.
Offer new user guides, reassure the new players it's worth playing, be constructive. Salty comments only hurt your own game. Now you don't have to agree with everyone, but pick up the mood lol. It's just a bunch of stupid comments all over the place with nothing given.
Poor form. Poor form.

Funny to read people harp on a game they still play with intent to ruin it so they can complain it is ruined.
More reason to not go to Steam, [surats].

Help make the game better if you want it to become better, or just away if you don't like it.

I don't think these "[surats]" are steam related they are general haters as you find them everywhere.
In the end it is sad to see that people spent their limited freetime with hating something instead of just doing something they have joy and fun with. Must be an empty boring and very sad Life they have

I don't think you quite understand the seriousness of the situation: Someone is enjoying something they don't.

To be fair, PGI's promise of the game to the Founders was a very different and much more intricate concept than what we have now. Starting with the skill tree, and then CW... there were ample times to make a lot of BT universe fans feel hurt.

Sure. But this happened years ago now. They can stop being children -literally or figuratively, and either make due or just move on. To just linger this long to spread hate is pathetic. The game is what it is, and isn't what it isn't. That old salt is useless.

Spreading hate is of course not encouraged, but they have every right to tell others that PGI had lied before on major issues and might do so again in the future. As a Founder, I might have forgiven PGI on many mess they made, but I've never forgotten about them.

If it was something that the game did in the past, what's to say it isn't going to happen in the future?
Some new players from steam will probably feel the same way these people do.
Reviews may have influenced me making a purchase, but if something is free, most people will try it, even if the 'buzz' is negative.

These are the guys who whine and moan every dang day on reddit, and then log on to play the game they supposedly hate. It's more than a little bizarre.

Frankly, I think Steam will wind up being a good thing for MWO. The larger the player base, the better, and Steam will just serve to grow that player base.
