Wait, dropping in pugs is a 24 mech free for all? I could have sworn that there were 11 other guys and we were all on a team.
Crazy thought, I know.

Not to get put on a team with people that think the way you think, probably.

There is just as much derping around by selfish, entitled, kids in CW too.

He didn't choose to get team mates that intentionally only worry about themselves.
He didn't choose to for people to intentionally, and / or unintentionally gimp their team mates by ignoring the R button.
He didn't choose to be the only person on his team that knew what a UAV was.
Grow up, and try to have an actual conversation if you're going to bother.
The only thing he chose was to log into a team game, and then expect team play.
Sounds like he didn't get the results the game implied it would have, therefore he should be complaining....so PGI can take his feed back and make the game better....or other players can take his feedback and become better team mates....or even so he can take other players feedback and become a better team mate himself.

However, it is very hard to trust guy next to you to do the right thing.
It is what it is.

problem solved.
Don't whine that players in the solo queue aren't all pros, and don't follow your every whim, and can't read your mind.

As to other tools: Try taking company or lance command and using the map tools to place markers to direct the game. Call out or even just type in coordinates or commands. In pug drops all of these things can be used. IMHO if you use these things the majority of players -new and old- will respond appropriately. They really will.
The point is: the resources are there and more often than not if they are used people will respond in a positive way. Unless you use these resources, you have no complaint about pugs acting like pugs.
The problem is not the tools, the problem is the terrible solo community here. They treat this game as if it were pve. Group drops aren't much of an option on Oceanic due to hour long wait times for a 12-0 stomp so I pug it, and it sucks. I'm desperately looking for another mmo because these matches are so terrible. I'm a good player and I want good teammates and opponents, that's too much to ask. I blame PGI for their crap population because of all the stupid **** they've done over the years. Teamwork is OP, it's a team game. Asking for actual teammates isn't too unreasonable, even in solo que.

Group drops on my half of the world don't happen for high tier players. Problem not solved. I want people to play this team game as part of a team.
If PGI hadn't wrecked so many things we'd have more players, then matchmaker could work and I wouldn't be stuck with so many hopelessly bad players all day every day.

Hasn't changed. It's been this way for as long as I can remember. So long as you died before you disconnect, you get all the rewards you would have gotten had you stayed throughout the match.

I will take your word for it, but that isn't how I remember it being. Getting all or your rewards was an incentive for people to stay until the end, and a way to prevent c-bill farming by running in tagging everyone real quick and the getting killed just to hop into another match rinse and repeat.

This is no game for teamwork. The players here are bad at attempting TEAMWORK
Teamwork in Solo Queue?
With respect, your coo-coo for co-co puffs for even assuming such a thing can happen there.
This IS the game for teamwork, you are just playing in the wrong mode and with the wrong people.
You want teamwork, join a Faction TS hub, group and play with those there in the Group and CW queues.
You want teamwork, you have to look for and find it, it's not going to come looking for you.

You're proposing not chatting then? I have more trash to talk about the solo que than anyone, and it's exactly because I know what teamwork is. Anyone who thinks they can hop on coms and get a response more often than not is in a fairytale land.
My reply was a little harsh but it is in response to a lot of harsh criticism of the solo queue and newbies.
I was just pointing out that most of the critics smack talking about lack of team work in some matches are likely not very good team players at all. Being on a team, which they would be if they were in that match, means taking as much credit as anyone else for victory or defeat any sabotage attempts aside.
Easy for me to say because I have been on great teams for a long while even if they are public teams in the solo queue.
Newbie tiers may be a different story and frustrating.
Although Galaxy map teams have been great to.
Also my point above stands. The best teams wont be chatting at all except for situational awareness, and not even much of that.
