I know you want to promote the new mechs a bit but its annoying only having leaderboards for a few mechs.

I take farming to mean "drop in and walk off or disconnect and hope your team carries you". I'm pretty sure if you can do 400 damage to an AFK mech, that's entirely fine. And profitable.
If you go AFK and assume your team will win you the match, that won't get you on the leader boards. It might get you some premium time (2 whole days) and some consumables, but you'd get virtually nothing else for your troubles.
I still think there should be a way to detect when someone is picking apart an AFK mech and prevent it from inflating their scores. Such a stupid tactic. Oh hey look I found 2 AFK mechs, get ready for the 1k damage screenshot...

But..
I have the fear, that since the last time, PGI in a very generous way give us MC and a bunch of colors.. that means the same time, that, the Decal System will be very expensive (MC heavy)... I hope not...
So.. Thanks for the Event... (I just wish, I could use the old gamemode-selector again.. )

The ACH-Prime (S) is in the Steam Performance Pack that just came out for real $$. If you have one from Clan Wave 3 or the subsequent MC/C-bill release, they won't count.
More info on the pack that comes with a Cheetah, taken from another post:
Light 'Mech Performance Pack
This pack features 2 popular Light 'Mechs each with 30% C-Bill boost and custom load outs built for performance.
Inner Sphere: Raven RVN-3L [S]
Clan: Arctic Cheetah ACH-PRIME [S]
The Light 'Mech Performance Pack also contains:
• 2 'Mech Bays
• Phranken pattern and colors applied and unlocked
• 30 days Premium Time (activates upon next log in)
• 1500 MC
• 2.5 million C-Bills

First of all, I'd like to say thank you for doing this event. I've taken a few days off from MW:O, and this event has given me incentive to come back and play my Marauders for a few days.
However, I would like to know why the Leaderboard challenge uses such a different score equation than the in-game score. It's really confusing to get a 380 match score, then see that my Leaderboard reads 105. Why not just use the in-game score?

There is a degree of skill, after all you do have to score well to get on the board! But you are spot on, you can inflate the hell out of the stats with a lot of games, just trying to get those 10 lucky matches.. ..not to mention its easy enough for groups to band together and fix matches for players.. ..as we saw on the 77k match score CW match that was posted up during that event..
Personally think the formula can stay, but you get a modifier for the number of matches you play so if say get 10 out of 100 matchs 1000+, this will place you higher than 10 out of 1000. This would also be offset by your general match scores. So a player with an avg of 600 that gets 10 1000+ matches would rank LOWER than a player that has an avg of 700 that gets 10 1000+ matches.
