Got my name from the late Hartford Whalers. Got to watch a exhibition game between them and the St. Louis Blues in the 90's as a kid. Something happened to the Hartford golie and Curtis Shayne "CuJo" switched sides in the last period to help out. After the game I got his auto graph and was able to talk to him fora few min. Made my day as a kid.

Nairdowell is the "hooked on phonics" version of Ne'er-do-well as most online sites will not allow the extra characters.... Plus it makes for a pretty good indicator for any RP opportunities....

Standard Definition - Ne'er-do-well - an improvident, irresponsible, or lazy person

Nair :D

Donovan Jenks was my favorite NPC character from a Mechwarrior/Battletech campaign I ran back in the mid 1990s. That campaign took place in 3058 and revolved around of a group of characters forming a mercenary company and taking contracts in the Chaos March.

This gives me an opportunity to develop some of the history of this character as this game starts in 3049 when Donovan was a member of the 3rd Crucis Lancers. Alot of really cool things happened to him in my story over the next 4 years so I am excited to see how much of it I can simulate with MWO.

My name is actually spelled Scrooloose, but someone had already reserved it :D a bit strange ince that's never before and Iv'e bee using the tag for quite a long time.

Scrooloose is the name of a character in "Mad Max, Road Warrior" I figured it'd make the perfect gamer tag and it just sorta stuck. I use it for nearly everything I play.

Favorite Book: Ender's Game --> EnDeR (been that way for ages)
Favorite Series: Wheel of time --> Major Protagonist = Rand alThor = Dragon Reborn

Add the two you get me, better than adding numbers and random characters. Even got it to work for xbox live heh...

I used a random number generator to determine the number of letters in my name. Then I used a random letter generator to determine each letter, in order. Then I discarded the results and went with the nickname I was given years ago.

Long ago I read an article that posited UFO sightings were the modern day manifestation of ghosts/demons/angles. That what people would at one time claim was a heavenly/demonic visitation was now being referenced as an alien abduction. Somewhere in the middle of this article there was a creative "example". A young Appalachian girl comes running up to her house screaming. "Pa, come quick! I wuz down by the crick, and I wuz attacked by a giant floatin' bar haid!". A bear head. This kind of stuff gets stuck in my brain instead of usefull information. So BarHaid it is for me. It has served me well many a year.

I was in the US Army, Infantry during the early 90's, and we had a joke about how many times you had to shoot a paper target before they would die. The Pop Up targets we had on the ranges were just a continuation of the theme. During that time, I was having a few problems in life and my friends would say that I should be like a paper target. Take a shot, and get back up. I got my first E-Mail address soon afterwards, and chose Papertarget as my handle. I have been Papertarget ever since.

Mine is a play on two sources: my actual nickname (long story), and the name of a character I had in an old CBT forum RPG (a loooong time ago.) I was sorely tempted to pick my old CBT handle, but it's Clan-centric and I wanted something a bit more neutral for the whole 3049 era.
