The mediums that are starved for weight suffer from either limited hardpoints (Ferret/Sad Cat) or suffer from being too slow and having bad placement (Nova). The Huntsman would be ok, but shadowed by its direct competitors because they have more optimal loadouts (SCrow/Hunchie).

I would prefer new weapons and game play content. Over mechs at this point. But I am aware that doesn't make economical sense for a free to play game.

I'm going with the Turkina because I'm not sure the Kingfisher would have enough firepower and it's not a sure thing it'll get ECM.

Commando IIC (or Locust IIC)
Shadow Hawk IIC (or Griffin IIC)
Rifleman IIC (or Guillotine IIC, if we could get something new while giving the original to the IS)
Warhammer IIC (or Marauder IIC)


If it has to be omnis, these would be my picks:
Fire Moth

Night Gyr

The Wobbie stuff can come later; the current era should be explored first, IMHO.

As for the crying...people on this form will cry about anything. Release something OP, they cry. Release something average, they complain that it's not the new flavour of the month. Release anything Clan, and the IS players whine. Release anything new IS, and the Clan players whinge.

Ignore the crying and look at the measured responses.

Medium - Viper (preferred configurations PRIME,A,C) or Coyotl (but Coyotl has olny 4 weapon hardpoints 2E 2M)
Heavy - Night Gyr (preferred configurations PRIME,B,D)
Assault - Turkina (preferred configurations PRIME,A,B )

Turkina is weaker than dire wolf, but because its lighter it will be easier to fit Turkina in CW drop decks.
for 240 tons drop deck: Fire Falcon + Stormcrow + Ebon Jaguar/Hellbringer + Turkina
for 250 tons drop deck: Fire Falcon + 2x Ebon Jaguar/Hellbringer + Turkina
for 260 tons drop deck: 3x Stormcrows + Turkina

PGI could give Turkina better torso yaw than Dire Wolf and better quirks.
Kingfisher is just another undergunned clan assault mech.

My only real concern with the Turkina is how massive it normally is; this thing's hitboxes would be enormous.

I have not seen Shimmering Sword or Flying Debris make one yet, though...

Turkina looks similar to King Crab, and King Crab is not too big in MWO.
