I would say a flat cut off of lvl 15 would be more realistic. I bet there are less than 10 people in any given faction that are level 20 (only know 2 in Davion, could be more though). You then spread that out over different timezones and you'd essentially have cases where ONE person is calling the shots...

Don't forget just because rank 20 guys aren't massively common now, you'll be seeing more and more of them in time due to the way LP is currently just a grind. I already know of a few mercs who are rank 15+ in Davion, unless of course you make the votes only available to Loyalists and not those wearing the badge at that time.

Saying that, the LP system needs a overhaul really, as once you hit rank 20, what's the point? If I wasn't such a stubborn bugger I'd be moving around now as the current system doesn't give you any reason to stay loyal.

I already stated 10 more levels should be added, and at level 30, a new planet is added to the faction, named after the player...

And yes, perm contracts/loyalist get votes.

Sorry I must have missed that, but even then with LP as just a grind then what? Add another ten when people start hitting level 30? I'd rather see it as something fluid based on activity or something. Maybe have 10 Field Marshalls max, 20 Generals for example. That way if people want to continue to heavily influence a Faction they need to continue to be active in it to keep their rank.

I kind of like the planet idea as an end goal, but dear god I dont want to be invading 'your momma' at some point.

Skimmed through, sounds like the Marik version of what happened to Liao.

Next week some other Merc unit will go Davion and 'break' a truce with some Faction.

Was not aware of mga involvement, still, by and large the FWL stayed out of it and ITX wilted on that front.

Had they reinforced ITX then the planet would have become an issue for us, instead, hhod, Davion and most of FWL loyal units can kind of laugh about this.

Because his delusions of OP-Ness are funny.
