Well that's that.

PGI is splitting queues per Russ on twitter.

Guess that puts to rest all the debate and ideas and suggestions regarding it.

He has said he was going to do this a few times but never said how much. 4v4 was going to be split last time i saw and 12v12 wasnt

All it does is take the players without unit tags and puts them in their own queue. Solo players in a unit will be in the unit queue. Pretty mild change..

That doesn't seem very useful or productive. I guess Alt accounts are a great "support" measure.

Except for the super long waits in the solo queue if that's the case. You can get 12 unmarked defenders pretty easily, 12 unmarked attackers though will take forever.

good cw has needed split queues for a while now

pugstomping just shouldnt exist in CW period.

most players that play CW are solo players

its the group queue thats gonna end up waiting longer.


Also to help the situation they probably should get rid of faction infighting and just make CW clan vs IS. get rid of clan vs clan and IS vs IS because theres not enough players for all those fronts.

For the record I think this is a bad idea, i presented arguments on both sides but I always stated this is a bad idea. You should either have to join a group or be REALLY good to play in CW but here we are and...

sounds like the pugs would rather have long waits than have their ego smashed and pug stomped.

At the moment I barely care. Come phase 3 if planets actually matter, then teams of super scrubs fighting against other bumbling wombats shouldn't be able to take hard fought planets without units being able to defend it.

I don't think all puggers are bad, but then not all units are good or always drop in 12 mans either.

Generally people in units will understand teamwork, even if they dropped alone.

I think its a good step in the right direction. Should still be plenty of people in the unit queue, but the new players and people who just like to rambo can have their kiddie pool.

Fair enough. Sounds almost like it's exactly what people were asking for now that I think about it. Either new players join units or they don't play CW.

The bigger is if they affect things in CW though...

Honestly I'm fine with that, it's a double standard to have solo/group queues in quick play but not faction play.

Not good enough to make me want to play it yet though.
