What do people put on it? I don't like it being a beam boat. No style and substance. And just checked, no lower actuators, meh...

I actually run it as a pulse boat myself. 5 med pulse w 2 large pulse. It also tanks really well. I run an xl 300. That is how well I feel it tanks. But large pulse and 2 med pulse in each arm with 1 med pulse in the head. I like to know if I lose an arm, that I can use the other just as well.

I totally do not see this mech as a brawler and I think MP XL is a horrible idea but I'm very happy to hear it actually works for you and wish you all the best. I am staying with my Gauss LP JJ build on 5D, loving it. I wouldn't even try playing it with MP and no lower arm actuators, which 5D has.

Now, if there would be a variant with double ppc on right torso and JJ that would be something to try out. PGI plz.

Yeah I tried it with gauss and an ac/20, but didn't really feel like that crazy light pilot. That is where I feel my best piloting is done. I am glad they sliced some of the cool down of gauss though. Even half a second helps to make it the weapon I hope it becomes.

Thank you for the event!

As I have more than plenty C-Bills I will be waiting for an event that will give more than just C-Bills.

Anyway, thank you for another event.

Next step.... daily random missions Posted Image

Nice, an event geared a little more towards new players, fortunately i'm not in need of C-bills.
So i will spend the time wisely by slaughtering the enemies of the Imperium of Mankind, purge the Heretics!
Eternal Crusade might not have a lot of content but jesus its fun.

It's a bit **** that people who paid for the BW over the WH(S) are not getting the 50% as well ithink they need to fix that for the heros forethe event as well as that just is not fair on people who paid extra for the hero .... please add them in:) as that would give me a bigger reason to buy the BW xD

While I see where you are coming from, think about this:
The heroes were only $15 more.
The collector mechs were redundant, you were paYing $20 for some fluff and a mech you already own that happens to give a 30% cbill boost.

Also from a marketing perspective, I bet WAY more people got the base + hero than the collector packs.

So I am betting this serves 2 purposes, reward those who took the road less traveled and maybe, just maybe entice a few more into buying the collectors packs...

Weekly events, weekly Sales, still some people just fall short of calling the Dev's subhuman scum for not making every event cater to their specific needs.
This is just ridiculous, MWO is by far one of the fairest businessmodels out there and is completely carried by those that CHOOSE to spend money.
I dont NEED to spend money on this, i play like 40 hours a week, i have all the mechs i could ever need, I choose to spend money to support the game I'm playing, which is a pretty ****** niche title in a literal sea of crappy, samey shooters.

Do i get my Money back with this Event?

**** no!

Am I getting what my money is worth in a sense of in game Content?

I dont think so!

Do I get my money's worth by MW:O existing in the first place?

**** yeah!

So how about everybody just chill the **** out?

ummm, let me break the away from all the arguments/saltiness about people/packs getting included/excluded/entitled to prizes/freebies for events... (I only have the JR7-IIC, and I'm ok with people who paid for the other packs to be offered more opportunities to grind more cbills).

I want to be salty about the time frame for the event:

Starts: JAN 27th 4:00:00 PM (PST) (JAN 28th 12:00:00 AM UTC)
Ends: JAN 31st 12:00:00 AM (PST) (8:00:00 AM UTC)

Its started about 18 hours earlier than normal. OK great, no problems there.

But it ends 1-2 days early. 31st Jan is a Sunday.

In other words, you only have half the weekend to do this Posted Image

Kind of a valid point but this isn't exactly a hard challenge... Take your Jenner IIc, I did it in 2 matches running SRM36...

Yea, its not hard, but sometimes, Real Life kicks in, and you don't actually get to sit down and play until Sunday night after everything over the weekend calms down (Many have complained in the past when events used to end like 4pm on a Sunday afternoon).

I prefer SRM24, cooler & lighter = more ammo and JJs. And Ghost heat isnt as bad if you really need to alpha and run.

When it comes to KMDD events, I just hop in my OXIDE and tear open a few cans of whoop-azz. The heavy and assault classes are going to be highly favored as usual. So I'll do what i do best :)

I don't think ANYONE would have more than half of the packs.
This rewards the steam players who bought a steam pack, even if most of them probably only have 1 pack (2 mechs).

I have a Marauder and a Warhammer, so it will just be 3 mio max.
