Not my problem, not anyone else's problem, and he can't make it anyone else's problem no matter how hard he tries. You aren't getting your pure tech 1 IS only game out of MWO cathy, get used to it.

HMm Clan did screw the balance and ruin it, but I was talking up the PGI Timberwolf, model being a good version when the clan fanatics were slagging it off.
A rip is still a rip, a good model is a good model

A Vibroblade is a melee weapon used across the Inner Sphere, first introduced in 2400 by the Free Worlds League[1]. The Vibroblade is used (and most often shaped) like a conventional sword, but also includes a power pack in the hilt for a series of motor systems. When activated the Vibroblade's cutting edge ocillates at a very high speed, cutting through anything in its path.
Vibroblades are available in a variety of sizes, ranging from personal weapons to experimental BattleMech sized versions.

Sure they existed, but the Kodiak didn't use one.

Hey, they figured out how to make lasers disappear after it passes effective range. Hold on to the dream.

It is as made up, that the claws were for a combat purpose as they were not. It is still a thing of imagination.
And even if they won't be a main melee combat weapon - a punch with this brass knuckles up to dagger long "claws" would cause serious damage to every cockpit alone caused by its shape.

I would rather have a head of some sort than some goofy looking sort of headless monstrosity. This isn't Sleepy Hollow, nor is it a giant game of whack a mole. The mech is already big so adding a little more so it doesn't look so silly isn't going to be a game breaker for me. I know it is all subjective, but a humanoid shaped mech with shoulders higher than the head or even just flat across the top looks ridiculous to me. I really didn't like it when they did it to the Warhammer, but this is even worse in my opinion.
