The Warhawk being my first clan Assault this was the build I finally settled on after many days of trail and error. its hits like a run away train and moves swiftly across the field preying mostly among the heavies but can face off against assaults. Learning to play this Mech should be rather easy if you know that your weapons are in a moderately short range and use your speed to your advantage as an assault the Warhawk has a pretty brisk pace. This Brute of war I rightfully named Pain God. Cheers!

I really think this is the most efficient, clean and Warhawkesque build in MWO:

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...f03d20c04725bc4

Spoiler
2 ER PPC
Gauss (3 tons)
Targeting comp 1
25 DHS

Focus is on the accurate, ranged fire support. Can defend itself close up with some nasty pin point shots. 25 DHS keep the 2 ER PPCs under control reasonably well.

This is an absolute optimum build. Regularly nets me 800-900+ damage with multiple kills.

The standard. Though i dropped 1 ERML for better heat management for the newbs. Trying to keep it pug-friendly.

Armor loading and distribution preferences aside, I think this build is a bit too vulnerable to right side torso blowouts, which is one of the first things that people will aim for on a WHK.

Might I suggest this as an alternative? Same weapons, ammo, TCOMP and armor, but different placement so if you lose your right ST you're not in an ammo crisis right away, plus you get to use the WHK-A right arm with the -30% UAC Jam chance quirk :)

LAZERHAWK

Because why be a chump?

4LPL+TC1+17DHS. 50 damages. 49%cooling eff.

Seriously. Lazors: wave of the (retro)Future.

This is fantastic! mainly because my WHK in-game is also named "Lazerhawk" after this guy.
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...f9f4ee9f00feca8

That is my WHK build AND ALSO, my proposal for the WHK champion variant.

I see a couple of builds with the 2 x ER PPCs and 2 LPL. I love the build but I wonder why you don't put the PPCs in one arm and the LPLs in the other arm?

[smurfy]http://mwo.smurfy-ne...f6ed2b0d5635961[/smurfy]

This is my favourite set up for this build. I like this better then the 4 LPL builds because you are able to alpha with no ghost heat. This also means less face time because firing 2 LPL then the other 2 is a long burn duration.

My WHK-B. I broke 1k damage in a single match first and only time in this mech. It is a Mid-range/brawler.

Here's my Long Range Support Warhawk : http://mwo.smurfy-ne...40cb29323aa270b

With 3 ERLL and 3 Artemis LRM10 and lots of ammo. Have to be careful of heat when using the ERLL.

Warhawk for T5 gameplay, relative heat efficient and simple weapon-loadout (two weapon-groups).

Simple, and powerful brawler. 2x UAC20 with as much ammo as it can lift.

WHK-B, one of best CW and solo queue builds, i'm actually not getting very high results with this one, but i saw people with 4-5k dmg using 2 of those in deck:
http://mwo.smurfy-ne...423221a47d82f60
4xCLPL

And WhK-C to brawl. Really good brawl. Not really optimal, but very fun:

3xCSRM6 (350 ammo), 1xCUAC20 (112 ammo), 1xCLPL

As a Champion Build its supposed to be played as a trial.... so well try to keep it as simple as possible. UAC20 and dual ERPPC

WHK-PRIME

Could be a pain to play at the beginning cause of the ERPPCs but at least new players learn everything they have to learn about lead to target - and heat management
