You can buy the faction patterns as one shots for 125MC which is easy to get from doing events!

That up angle, though. Wow. I wish more things with no-elbow arms had that kind of an upper canopy on the cockpit.

****...still the more i watch the cockpit preview the more i get the feeling the arms is going to be tooo short its like they are behind the cockbit instead of going long to the front -.-

Both the 3C and 3N are looking like serious AC/10 potential. I like it.

I also thought that the Rifleman barrels looked too short from the cockpit view when I first watched the video... then I noticed that the FOV in the video is almost certainly the default FOV of 60, which explained why it looked weird to me because I'm used to playing the game with an FOV of 80. So it's like 8mmspikes said, if you set your FOV in game to a higher value, you should be able to see the barrels no problem. I personally can't imagine playing MWO with the default FOV setting; I'd get tunnel vision even worse than I do already.

its true im playing the game with FOV60 and today i played around with the FOV settings and extra bought an Jagermech for it. ( new to the game playing for maybee two months here). It doesnt matter....see with the Jagermech even on FOV60 you are able to see the Barrels it gives you the feeling of having long barrels. That should be the same on the rifleman.

i mean see the pictures with the 3D model shows the rifleman is having long arms(the reason i bought the rifleman) and the cockpit is in noway as long as the arms nomatter what FOV you set. Damn thinking about that i also bought the Archer already.....guess this will be the last time ill preorder so fast.

damn me and watched the cockpit preview video again aaaaaa the cockpit is even longer as the Arms (barrels). in this video there is AC5 barrels and large laser they are so short that you need to push ctrl button for beeing able to see them -.-

the way it shoild be 1) _D and thw way it is 2) D

the D is the cockpit, the _ is the Arms (barrels) so even on FOV60 it has to be longer.

Yeah...if you are willing to sacrifice Large Lasers or Large Pulse and go for mediums across the board, dual AC10 will work fine on the 3C, that range bonus is great. With 3N however you'll get problems fitting 2x AC10 and 6 mediums tonnage-wise even with XL 240, not even talking about external heat sinks.

I prefer more than 65km/h on a 60ton mech, so I aim for XL 280 or XL 290

Real nice touch with the gyroscope in the middle.

My bet's the 3C's going to be the best all-around from this pack, but we'll see.

Love the 3D model implementation, and really love the AA friendly cockpit.

Not so sure about the quirks, mainly the 3N quirks. We'll have to drive them and see.

Observations from the in game preview:
Looks hot
Looks squishy
I can run an AC20 and 3 medium lasers on my bj1c with 80kph+ top speed and jump jets. Can I do 20 tonnes better with the rifleman?

Hope to find a place for it in my roster as more than just "ok".

Well, if they keep loyal to its history, It'll be hot and anti-air. The cockpit view makes it great for taking out UAVs, and the heat, well that was easy to ensure.
