Uh... will that MASC unit won't be able to handle the 90 tonner? I think you need a MkIV MASC.

Hmm that could be true some adjustments may be need, I trust you see the mech be well fitted.

Well it's half a ton.

In MWO the armor max difference is disproportionate as well, due to front armor biasing, but the trade off is crummy JJs. Posted Image

But running maximum armour does not allow the 90t mech to mount the armament it is known for, based off of TT, an 85t version would be superior. Not to mention less costly to produce, both in terms of materials as well as Kerenskies, this means you could charge just as much, as you could be using the power associated with the name brand to inflate the value, allowing for a lager profit margin.

Thank you, I appreciate your efforts in this matter, I have had a hard time getting a proper mech for some time....

Sorry CK, but your battle is far from over. Now you have to prove that the Knockoff won't be absolute garbage.

What indication which shows that it will be absolute garbage?

Lets see here:

1) Gigantic arms that will pretty much turn into nubs unless you feel like offering the majority of your firepower as tribute.

2) Titanic side torsos.

3) Way too high of a stance for a chicken walker.

4) Underslung energy hardpoints forces you to expose those Titanic-sized STs to get a shot off.

Don't pay attention to him. The thought of the Mad Cat MKII makes his blood boil for mystical and arcane reasons unknown to mere mortals and he does everything he can including making **** up to make sure everyone else feels the same. Trying to reason with him on this subject is like asking Donald Trump for evidence on his wiretap claims. It's not happening.

Yup

The MK II is so perfect for my dual gauss dual e-ppc's that paul might just have to nerf me.

Well, that contains too much hyperbole for my sanity.

I'l let others who feel adventurous pick on that.

As far as viability goes, the Mad Cat MkII actually looks good. It's not Kodiak-good, but it is nowhere near garbage.
As we now enter the FCCW-era, it is a valid addition and probably quite good in MWO. Both, in terms of lore and of gameplay, it is easily the best pick of the pack.

No, I have not suffered a stroke; I still don't think it is 'iconic' - most overused and abused term here - but denying that it is a solid choice is simply silly.

Omni will not enhance this 'Mech's capabilities anyway since it doesn't have that much varied hardpoints.

Thus it's better served with BattleMech config where you can optimize the engine and number of JJs equipped.

I agree on that but the only variant i was interested in was the mad cat mkii 2.and rest are irrelevant to me.
Would have bought the package for that just one mech but now i will not buy something i do not like they could just as easily made them all have lower.

Fair enough. I can not tell you how much value you need to see here to Warrent it.

However I will say that the Standard Package would be very solid choice, at $20 US you end up with 2 very viable chassis and a 3rd respectable one. I assume you want the 2 for brawling set up simular to the Scorch? Let's look at the other 2 varriants you would get. The 1 is very capable of Gauss PPC. GAUSS vomit. And any dual heavy ballistics with energy back up. The 4 depending how ATM's work, would be pretty much a larger TBR missile boat, there is possible good set ups here and definitely not a slacker. Also if you order before the end of the month you get all the preorder goodness, free camo, colors ect. For a not to large price of $20
