[Dingo Battler]

Just curious to see what others think. I'm guessing upwards of 80%. Almost everyone I meet has fancy paintjobs and custom skins. Plus, recently, at least 40% of players will be in a warhammer, marauder or rifleman.

In fact, I'm guessing that 30-50% are regular payers, and will constantly pay for new mechs.

I've bought the ACH pack (Stupid move, because its cheap on cbills), Dire wolf ala-carte, TBR-A, and the new Kodiak pack using real money. Spent heaps of MCs buying 1 TBR,2 SCRs, 1 KGC, plus heaps of skins and colours.

What have you guys bought?

People spend money on this game? I thought everyone knew it was a P2W trash heap. I mean seriously, look at the OP P2W urbanmechs and completely P2W heroes like IV-Four and La Malinche. Also, I'm getting sick of the P2W mech patterns and colors. Being able to buy red paint for your mech and get a speed boost is just ridiculous, I tell you.

I would like to see what complete tools have spent money on this game

I buy stuff when I feel like not having to grind for it.
Was gonna grind the Clan tech originally. Then it got released for C-bills, and I took one look at the price and went, Nah, Screw that with a PPC.
Also, sales usually get me to blow money.
Probably gonna pre-order the Kodiak on the last day of Pre-order, because Clan Atlas.
But with nigh on a hundred empty mechbays, I'm probably gonna grind most of the mechs eventually.
Just buy some of my favorites.
At least you don't HAVE to spend money on this game, unlike WoT and their kin.

I would say its a fair guess that better than 50% of the active players have spent at least some $$ on this game.

Last thing I bought was the jenner pack. Most the stuff I got from pre order or event give a ways. I'm siting on 200 mil cbills and nothing to spend it on. My mech bay has 73 mechs and 13 empty mech bays. Really all you need is a mech you do decent in and just play the game. Give a ways and events will get you a lot of stuff.

I first bought the Basc Founder package and then Upgraded to Elite Founder.

Bought a couple MC packs to unlock various skins and such, mainly for my beloved Cataphracts (I think I have about 6 skins unlocked for them)

Bought the Ilya Cataphract as well, still love to pilot it.

Bought the Heavy Metal Highlander, I like it OK, but not as much now as I used to.

Bought the Overlord Phoenix Package + Saber reinforcements, quite happy with those mechs (except the Locust)

Recently bought the Marauder basic+Hero package

And finally bought the Mauler Resistance 2 package.

I enjoy the game, find less fault with it than many on the forums, like customizing giant stompy robots, occasionally have extra cash to spend, and I consider myself as an original Battletech fan (I still have a Battle DROIDS box set), I find that the money I have spent here has been a reasonable use of my entertainment dollar.

Yeah.

First was the X5. Then the Catapult, Dragon, and Victor bundles...Urbanmech Collector...Marauder Collector...and Rifleman Collector. And the Quarantine & Top Dog, on a whim. Oh, and an a la carte Summoner because I wanted to try one Clan Invasion mech and that's the one I like best.

On the other hand, I have all the ones I want now. Frankly, if the RFL and MAD had been available when I started those would have been the only ones I got...
