Not sure about the percentages, but I do. Didnt spend as much as other ppl apparently, but then again I am fairly new to this game. So far, every dime was well worth it and I will continue to buys things/mech packages as long as I have fun playing the game (though I gotta say the forums are full of complainers and whiners, but from my pov thats the sad reality of each and every multiplayer game these days).

Uhhh Magic:the Gathering...kids still play it? Back in the day (read as: somewhere in the 1990´s) I was a big fan when I was in school... I even played a tournament or two (sucked against competitive players, but I had a blast regardless). I might still have some cards stored somewhere in the basement

All of the Hero mechs barring the Top Dog and Quarantine, the new Highlander variant that came out last year, the new Lolcust variant that came out last year, a half-dozen or so Champions, the Resistance Panther, Resistance 2 Mauler Pack, Origins IIC Highlander pack, Marauder Collector's Pack with Hero, Warhammer Collector's Pack with Hero, Rifleman Collector's Pack with Hero, and Kodiak standard pack. I'll end up getting the Kodiak Collector's Pack with Hero later, once I've got a new job.

It's a ton of money to spend on virtual Gundams, but I *really* like this game.

well... I recently went through all my paypal history for the last years... yeah, it was quite a bit, more than I thought to be true. landed somewhere around 900$ (which are around 740ish euro ). I'm not regretting much of that, though and it was over the last 3-4 years now but still quite a number.

And looking how few green mech you see on the field, even in lower tiers and how many badges you see I'd say we're over 50%, and at least in the top of the free/pay ratio for most f2p games.

The minimum MC buy-in is $7, I would expect the number of unique spender to be high but not sure on returning monthly spenders. For instance, I might have spent close to $1000 over 3 years, but I don't spend every month.

It would be odd if the conversion rate was all that wildly different than what all other f2p games have reported. I can't remember off hand what that is, something like 5-10% of free players convert to paying customers in f2p games.

I think ive spent about 50 or so dollars on MC (when there is a bonus upon purchase) that i used to buy things like my Top Dog (was on sale and the TDR was my first mech so it seemed like it should be my first hero purchase),

some mechbays and a couple colors (just to get rid of the basic green) and a single one-shot pattern.

thats about it afaik

I simply find everything else, especially mechs way too expensive. I only dished out for the urbie because I love the trashcan and only for Sarah because it went to a good cause.

And besides, I don't like the idea of buying a mech pack with 4 mechs with 3 variants each, which means having 12 new mechs in my bay, which all need to be mastered and equipped.

I tend to just buy one mech, then the next and so on. Having all the mechs unused in my hangar due to mechpacks would make this game boring for me. There would be nothing to work towards anymore.

All the MC I bought only went for mech bays, one shot camos and colors.
