We still want a ban wave PGI!

The reasons for not doing it were weak.

I strongly suspect that Paul was intentionally playing down their efforts to combat cheaters, hackers, etc. If you paid close attention, they clearly knew who was responsible and what methods they're using. There'll be a ban wave. We might not know about it, we might not know who cheated, but it's coming.

I wonder, how many of the people on the ban list bought Kodiak packs? It would be sad if that were a factor in the decision...

If your account is banned can you even request a refund?

I wouldn't think so, but it would be a hilarious legal loophole if that were possible. Personally, I hope not.

Well, then I see no reason not to ban them then. PGI already has their money, right?

be careful, i had a thread last night called http://mwomercs.com/...-is-1-too-many/

but now it's been deleted.

In that we basically said 1 cheater is 1 too many, the ban wave needs to go out or otherwise as paying customers we loose confidence in buying product knowing PGI knows there are cheats in the game but not willing to do anything about them for some reason and the only logical one is that there whales.

So much for this claim that half of a well known unit is using a cheat. So if half of this well known unit cheat, then surely a lot of us have played against them thus been victims to cheats.

the big question is why can they cheat and not be banned? How much money does someone have to spend to be allowed to cheat. Why should i spend any money on a game where i know cheaters are allowed to stay? Whats changed from when Russ tweeted the ban wave was coming and now it's a non issue? How can this tournament coming up have any credability if they allow cheats to enter knowingly?

Why is PGI removing threads on the subject when they haven't breached TOS?

a lot of a food for thought i say!

EULA clearly states that as long as the player breaks conduct, such as cheating, PGI is free to do whatever they please with his account. There should not be refund--unless it was a pre-purchase.

PGI should put the cheaters' accounts for auction, so they can continue to earn money off of them!

Refund is allowed because product content was not delivered hence the company cannot be allowed to retain the monies for such.

So let the conspiracy theories flow!!!

It appears cheating will remain the elephant in the room, despite how many cheat threads get deleted.

viva la revolution !

I use all types of hacks since the first day I play MWO and nobody cares. I mean it's so easy I even tell everyone who asks me where to get these hacks. My first callsign was Hacking Hacker and when I drop with my unit The Hackers we always chat about hacks and who hacks the most and if the other unit will be using more hacks or the same amount of hacks as we do (we make hackbets) since hacks are hacks and everything that matters for the hacked hacker game Hackwarrior Online. We even call our Mechs Hacks since that got that same groovy ring to it. Like you would hack something!

EDIT: I didn't write that myself but I won't delete this post since my account was probably hacked by hacking Hacker who is part of this community of hackers and hacked it's way with a hack inside the hacker secure security and then into my Hacker account which was already hacked I bet. PGI please banwave witches! They enchanted me as a hacker for typing hacks while playing your hacker hacked game as a Hackwarrior in a Battlehack... What the hack!

What?! My Sarcasm-o-meter is reading Sarcastic-Ium in that post alone is... UNDER NINE THOUSAND BUT THAT'S STILL VERY HIGH!

Is this thread going to end up in K-town too? I hope so I have tickets for the K-Town opera tonight and I need a ride.

Maybe we should take a hint and move along.

I believe the last ban wave stated that all purchased items that have been delivered are forfeited on the accounts, but undelivered content will be refunded. So IF there is a ban wave, then any Archer and Kodiak purchases would be refunded.

You just go to your bank explain the situation and tell them you have been robbed. Pretty good chance the bank will reverse the transactions for you, depending of course on local laws. If you country has buyer protection laws you cant just snatch peoples stuff away. Its been tryed before.

The tin foil hat wearing morons who think that just because they aren't going to ban everyone at once publicly means that they aren't going to ban anyone are hilarious. Get over it, they never said they are allowing people to cheat without banning them.
