When a place claims they have the BEST slice of pizza in town, do you take their word for it? Or go inside and ask to see the results from the latest nationwide pizza slice contest?
Its advertising, plain and simple. Same thing as a headline on the news papers, its often over sensationalized.

I have personally spent hours talking with other league organizers to gather feedback on our gameplay rules, structure, maps and tonnage rules.
These things can and will be adjusted but I will gleefully skip past feedback that comes with a side serving vitriol.
I just don't need that kind of energy in my life right now (winky face)
Namaste.
After which the Mech tonnage rules and others were set to TBA,

This is really beyond unprofessional guys.
Did or did PGI not play the f ucking MRBC to get an idea how competitive gameplay in MWO looks like?
But what it looks like is they have drawn 0 (ZERO) conclusions from that.

This has been the MO pre and post-IGP.
Why are we surprised?
Yes, best to advertise as the least skilled tournament ever......
But it's nice to see competitive players admit that the click a pixel, no hindrance, no immersion arcade shooter aiming they demand for MWO is not terribly skill dependant. Kudos, that.

Half that money should be put into a lottery that any player can enter. Make the leets make do with $50,000.
Anyone care to take bets that in the final each side will have at least 1 Arctic Cheetah, if not 2.
