Oh is that why I should turn off MWO at night in Europe cause the queues end up messed up, no wonder there's so many shutouts at that time then.

They may delete this thread if it threatens them. Is there a way to back it up?

wait.... that's far too paranoid, I forgot that this is supposed to be a friendly inquiry

I've noticed this too and I've been collecting screenshots.

It's lovely when all the Tier 1 players are people you recognise. And they're all on one side. And the opposite team has absolutely nobody you recognise. Usually results is a predictable roflstomp.

All of those people you don't know could still be tier 1. Since, you know, your actual skill level has next to nothing to do with your tier. Matchmaker thinks it's working perfectly when it puts 12 DivA pilots on one team and 12 terribads who just happen to have 10k games played and have been playing in their same LRM atlai since beta on the other.

PGI finds this forum too toxic to really interact with the player base. Just FYI. When every other thread has someone who has a bone to pick with something that they have done, it discourages them from posting.

The idea here is to ask them from a friendly perspective, not an accusatory one. Therefore they would have no reason to not reply.

There are programs which can save an entire website... but it might be against the ToS...

You can always copy and paste... or download web browser extensions that can save individual pages of a website also.

PGI will delete the thread even if your post does not go against ToS... this is not freedom of the press here... they own and can control everything here.

They tried doing that on Reddit and it bit them in the butt.... admins there do not put up with that crap.

And here is a prime example of why they don't bother. K-town here we go.

I was just informing you on why they don't post here on GD. They do reply to other sections. I'm pretty sure there basically have been "Burn the heretic PGI staffer" posts after they do post.

Why do you think Scout Derek ended up becoming a volunteer mod? Because he can moderate, and still post things without people jumping down his throat because he doesn't have the blue text and PGI symbol.

Alright then, I might as well instigate it further. How can I really put some questions to PGI? Make them see it?

Just editing out the drunkenness, move along, nothing to see here.

You can't, really.

You can try Twitter

Russ seems pretty good about replying to Twitter questions, but he is the president of PGI. Make sure it's something important. Don't just shitpost for the fun of it.

I've played with a few staffers ingame. It isn't like PGI doesn't play their own game, and suprise suprise, they are humans. As much as it may suprise people, they do have voices as well. Don't get salty because your favorite mech doesn't preform well.

I understand, again, I will say that I am approaching this from a friendly angle, my tone of voice will signal that I am on their side. If discrepancies show up, then they will be self evident. I do not need to come at them with aggressive questions.

Good. The player/staff interaction needs to be friendly, or they will just ignore us completely. Thats all I was trying to get across.

I made an inquiry related to this post, directly to the Tournament feedback thread, where I am sure they are watching

here

but I will give twitter a try if they do not respond soon

Ye know, I'd actually contemplated making a very rare effort to explain to people why they are once again being idiots about the matchmaker, why it will never give you the utterly impossible results you keep demanding of it even if a thousand developers spent a thousand years reworking it.

Then I remembered who I was talking to, and also that Giggyliggywanamammacomcomcom is seriously suggesting that Piranha is actively stacking the matchmaker in favor of accounts with more dollars spent and/or preying on gamers who 'want to like' MWO but don't have the self-control to vacate when the game isn't World of Warcraft, Mass Effect, Minecraft, the Sims, and every previous MechWarrior title ever created all in the same game.

So I suppose, given the audience, I will spare myself the wasted effort and simply resort to the default. Ahem:

You're open to your opinion, if you are done with your tantrum, have a seat please.

I would also like to point out, that you could not have any insight to this issue, because tier 4 is not placed with 1-3.

clarity: the above comment is a simple statement of fact, he cant have insight to the problem from that seat. I had no intention of belittling him. The funnest part of this game for me, is being able to interact with new players, and to help them in any way I can.
