yeah, I drool when I look at it sometimes, too.

Potential to be the best CW Assault in the game, by far, for either Faction.

so what IS the meta?

Ive been told its something so little as taking arm mounted weapons and putting them in torsos. Ive done THAT trick in every game that allows you to do so as it takes weapons that are otherwise a liability and makes them arguably more useful especially as most people will target your sts be3fore the arms anyways looking for a quick XL kill

Anyhoo; I want the Bane anyways as that thing would be friggin hilarious with its 14 ballistic mounts

Also note what you don't see.... that's right, no Dorito, suckers. That's courtesy of ECM. Just 4PPCs and a TAG to your grill.

Chumps.

nice but there are two 2t problems.... the MPL are in the legs.... and we know that PGI don't have a clue how to make leg weapons

They'll end up low torso mounts instead.

this would be the clever and simple solution - not going to happen

Narrower Battlemaster with ECM and the potential to run twin Gauss*? Yes please, sign me up.

*probably wont run twin Gauss, knuckledragging mofo. 4-5 high mount LPL + ECM? Yes, yes indeed.

If it mounts PPCs, it cannot be meta without a time machine.

You might as well add LB-X autocannons in the arms to stick with the theme.

I agree but maybe some AC10s or Ultra 5s wouldn't be bad for maps where it is wide open.

Uh, already addressed. Leg weapons, like rear torso weapons, get assigned to the "same" torso. Already been done on one of the cicadas.

and yet:

CDA-3C
Part of a limited run of experimental models in 2840, the 3C variant is an attempt to allow the 'Mech to have a much greater reach with devastating results. To do this, it uses a smaller VOX 280 engine, reducing the maximum speed to 118.8 kph. In place of the laser weapons are two Machine Guns in the legs and a Donal PPC in the right torso. Despite it's small numbers this variant did see combat during the Succession Wars and can be found in Capellan Confederation training academies

wuss?
ok the Cicada never understand this Mech - the artwork and the record sheets never made sense.

so we have now a Cicada that has its leg weapons mount in the side torso - so where is my Victor A1?

dual ballistic torsos couldn't save the VTR now, thanks to Paul.

If this product of the impossible ever arrives (it was designed by Draconis Combine and Federated Suns mech engineers working together, and to the best of anyone's knowledge noone had their Offices invaded and shot up hby the other team at any point! That's practically a sign of the end times, that is :D ) then I have one primary demand on which I am not in any way, shape or form willing to compromise.

It absolutely _MUST_ keep its yacht deck which we can see mounted under the cockpit here. Where else will the hot chicks who are sure to throw themselves at me when I pilot this beast lounge around and get their suntans?

It gets even stranger when it comes to the production: the Dracs produced it on Quentin - a traditional FedSuns world they took in the War of 3039. And the other producer is Defiance, a Lyran company, on Hesperus II.
