They should set up high resolution web cams around the event venue and sell "tickets" to view the streams live. Those cockpit items are not that interesting to me, but I might be willing to fork over a few buck to watch he event live.

I expect that will be free, as they want the world to spectate the highest skilled tournament in all of esports and be in awe.

My clan account, i don't think i will. with omni mechs, and it a second account, i don't think i will be buying anywhere near as many clan mechs to level. So getting day passes, and Jamming on the clams will probably work well enough.. that account really only has 6 different chassis so 18 mechs and 1/3 are done already. Besides they are expensive enough, that if i am buying 3 more, my XP is done well before my cbills


But my vet account IS on the other hand, I think i have 15+ chassis to work on and associated variants, and that's before re-size hits, when i know a few more will tempt me.. like a trebuchet IS mechs, to just buy the chassis, is kinda cheap, and with locked hard points, you end up buying so many.. to me its a solid deal for this account.

On the 19th, Tournament support packs go on sale. The specific items are a few pages back in the thread. 10 bucks for a xp boost and a few cockpit items.

What is not clear is

When you pay money are you entering the tournament?

Or are you just giving them money for a few cockpit items
10% XP boost is nothing
If they want donations they should come out and say "looking for donations"

I never get this. I always need XP. I level everything and I use some GXP to take the pain out of basics.

I do the heat unlocks on every mech and all basics on assaults with GXP. Adds up.

I support My unit in their endeavors (not playing in it) but MWO as an E-sport is not where it needs to go. I think the $100k or more they are spending on this event would have been better spent on actual advertising or game development.
