I'm pretty sure it's going to be the Cyclops.

Ehhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....
Although an Adam Steiner Hero is far more likely on an Awesome, I still want to see it on an Axman.
His Awesome just looked like a plain, ordinary brown Awesome. That Axman though, with it's black/yellow tiger stripe and red accents....just sweet!

While it isn't exciting, if any IS Assault needs/deserves an ECM, it would be the Awesome.
I'm fine with the Axman too.... but I would rather fill out variants of current mechs.

Why the Flea? It's a 20 ton mech flying at ludicris speeds that'll fall over if a foul wind blows in its general direction!
Why Flea? Because, because... we got Urbanmech!

Maybe we can get a kickstarter type thing for the flea just like the urbanmech?

Help me out, which one was that? I'm not perfect on my lore knowledge.
Do you mean the Wolfhound? That's more of a FedCom (Steiner) mech, isn't it?

Nono, lemme 'splain more clearly:
He said no Dragoons without Flea, then said the Kell Hounds already had their mech in game.
Wondering which mech he's referring to as the iconic Kell Bounds mech that's already in-game.
I'm thinking he means the Wolfhound, because of Phelan Kell, but it doesn't fit in my potato-tier understanding of the lore. As I understand it, it wasn't a Kell Hounds mech so much as it was a Steiner mech

OHHH....
Morgan Kell's mech is the Tempest, the Archer hero with ECM.
Honestly there are quite a few Dragoon type mechs, of which the Flea is one of them. Annihilator is another and I think a better fit for a Dragoon Hero. The Archer 5W is another Dragoon mech.
Gray Death Legion also has two heros, the Gray Death and the Pirate's Bane.

He could be talking about the Tempest Archer hero mech, just as the Grey Death Legion has both the Shadow Hawk Grey Death and the Locust Pirate's Bane.... Then again the Wolf's Dragoons have the Warhammer Black Widow.... so it's a wash?

My bad, sorry for confusing. Kell hounds aint got any of their mechs in-game acording to Sarna http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Category:Kell_Hounds_BattleMechs i
If that waht you mean.
Oh and yes the Wolfhound are Steiner mech, designed to hunt down Kuritan Panthers.

Was thinking about that too. Sure, yes Kells Tempest Archer. Correct.

You know what, that makes sense. I knew that about Morgan and Tempest, but I just wasn't connecting the dots. Probably because I was looking at it at the chassis level.
As chassis go, the Flea is very closely associated with the Dragoons, but the Archer was pretty common accross multiple factions.
You're right though, because the GDL heroes and the KH hero are drawn from iconic moments in the lore, which makes the connection plenty strong. When you think of those heroes in particular, you think of the pilot, the mech, and their merc unit.

Thanks!
I feel kind of guilty lore-wise for the fact that I like both the Panthers and the Wolfhounds. I mean, I like the Panthers more, but right now the Wolfhounds are my second favorite IS mech.
They're both just so much darned fun

It just so happens that the WLF-2 (the special-R one) runs just about every Wolfhound build better than it's peers. If I were going to get duplicates of any of them, it's definitely the one.
Even though the Panthers and Wolfhounds are pretty similar to each other, they still manage (Panthers especially) to have enough uniqueness that I can play each with different optimized builds. They're nice that way.
Sadly, I'm not as optimistic about the Cyclops.

Well yes, it is build to the specs of the Dragoons but it is produced by Bowie, a Lyran company, and is thus commonly seen in Lyran ranks too (even though outnumbered by Defiance's -5S I guess).

Just meant it was a variant developed by the Dragoons, thus it is 'theirs' even though not many mechs are really exclusive outside of Comstar.
