1. If solo loyalists can vote you've got an easy system to abuse. It also still makes intentional coordination of a faction incredibly difficult because you've got units fighting solo players for direction of the faction. Why does 'solo loyalist' even exist? As a role it's hugely open to abuse. Have solo Freelancer and solo Mercenary. Loyalist needs tied to a unit.
2. If solo queue still flips worlds you again create an abusable system. So I can win matches all day in Unit queue but the other faction is dropping 3 12mans in solo queue (which are inherently going to be sync dropped) I'll lose the world? So now the best way to take a world is to run most of us in solo queue, sync-dropping and stomping bads.
Those ideas are going to get abused and create hard feelings. I'm all for solo players to affect scout matches and stuff but these two systems are and have been a bad idea from day one. I brought it up when they first started, it's still a bad idea.

The test is going to be if the work they've put into PH3 does more than spike the FW numbers for a few weeks. It's one of those things where time is going to tell and as someone who admittedly sucks at, but enjoys FW, I want to see it thrive.
The 4v4 scouting mode looks interesting and hopefully it works well in practical application out here in the wilds.
In fact, the scouting mode has put to question which faction I was going to join. I was leaning heavily towards a clan, but with the Marauder coming out for C-bills tomorrow, and the fact I LOVE Locusts, I might go inner sphere so I have a reason to use my Lolcust in FW. The Clan lights/mediums don't interest me much. I'm addicted to the tiny, 165kph ECM ninja that is the Pirate's Bane...

solo loyalist makes a hell of a lot more sense than a merc corp loyalist.
merc corps are only loyal to their own bottom line. merc corps should never be loyalists they should only work for factions as part of contracts.

you mean stormcrow mode? because is there any reason not to use 4 stormcrows?

Yeah 4 Streakcrows will be vile in that mode unless it requires constant movement and speedy IS lights can just keep away but.. yeah don't see that happening

I would say Russ should fire Paul and hire a competent lead, but i have a hard time believing that someone would want to dive into the latrine pit of balance that Paul has created.
Also extremely unhappy that the Vindicator SIB which is extremely weak got a nerf and the Victor continues to be ignored.
Im starting to view Paul like a garbage supreme court justice, hoping for death is gruesome and unseemly, but if he would just disappear I wouldn't mind
I wonder if the patch notes were so late because Paul was busy throwing darts at his quirk board because he put it off for too long.

Don't you know? A turtle bit Russ last month, and he wanted revenge, so he needed the mech that resembled it the most.
All jokes aside, this is definately an interesting patch, but the Clan quirk movement is just... Weird.
Oh well. Might as well hope the PPC and LBX buffs do some good. (And maybe this patch can pry me away from Dark Souls 3 for a bit)

A thought - alt "loyalist" accounts would be a thing to control stuff potentially..
Also, would anyone be interested if I did an "audiobook" for the patch notes?
It's a serious, yet trollworthy question....

I have no idea why, but I now want to hear someone reading the patch notes with a Skeletor impression. These are the thoughts that go through your head when reading about mechs while sleep deprived.

The Jester is essentially a better K2 that can jump. Quirk nerf justified. Expect it to retain the lower relative quirks to the non-hero Catapults next patch.
