Overall I really like the new system. There are a lot of good ideas in there that should make CW more fun and will give players reasons to actually try to take planets. I also like the whole scouting thing. This might actually make me play CW again after a long absence.
Only thing that is questionable to me is how the MC distribution among members works as it seems quite arbitrary and might lead to cronyism.

Ya'll screwed up the scouting. You need to lower the tonnage. Right now I'm seeing nothing but ssrm crows.

Really, as a solo player who occasionally gets to play with two friends (thus one short of the necessary number for 4v4) nothing in this patch is as crazy awesome as everyone seems to be reacting.

You get additional rewards, especially mech bays. That surely is an incentive to me.

The best thing for solo players with this patch is obviously the solo queue for CW though. Now you can finally win at least half of your games instead of losing most to premades. I would say that is pretty big.

Lbx 10 seems tight, especially on the quirked enforcer. LIKING it. Still not sure about PPCs although on a quirked marauder it is slightly noticeable.

Match Maker is still worse than useless.....cannot go up on ratings usually get dropped with nubs IE:2 levels below which eventually drops me a level and then I am really borked.....more nubs more frequently...frustrating circle ...cannot carry every team and it sure feels like that most of the time...

Mech bays for being in a faction or mercenary but not as a freelancer, correct? And as a mercenary you can't play solo que at all. So you can be a solo faction player and get rewards for playing in solo que.

My understanding is that solo-players were not eligible for rewards beyond cbills and xp?
Not Loyalty points.. or Rep points... which means no mechbays or other rewards.
Now, if this is NOT the case, then I am more excited about playing as a non-unit type of player....

....seeking wisdom on this one....

EDIT... ninja'd above but same thinking... So "no ding ding, without a wedding ring" so by not Unit-ing up are the FW solo rewards going to outweight the pile of cash I make in Puglandia? ...my concern grows...

bring ECM mechs. poor ******** won't even be able to fire. also, it's a SCOUTING mission. just outrun them and cap the points. game over, they lose.

I was running ECM and the SSCrows pwned us. Drop tonnage to 50 tons and it will be a bit more realistic.

Got to admit I am loving what I see. I do have a question though, does the capture accelerator allow for you to gain the intel points faster during scouting?

Also to go against a 4 Crows, is a very hard thing to do, these maps that I've been playing in aren't that big where you can just out run them.

Speed > firepower in Scouting. Crows can't up engine size. good luck catching a locust or spider when you don't know where intel points are

also..... bring IS 55 tonners then. Streak Crows really are only super effective against lights......not so much against enforcers, hunchbacks, Centurions, Shadow Hawks, etc.

Yes I was referring to playing solo. I dont see a reason for not signing up for a random faction and taking the rewards when playing solo.

I see complaints about Freelancers. I'd like to see them get a classification of "pirate" and Freelancers could group up and attempt to take worlds creating Pirate realms. Attacks would only be allowed on the periphery of Houses/Clans.
