Irece. Last functional LAM factory (destroyed by the Nova Cats), and heavy industrial world. Also one of the main planets for the Nova Cats once they join the Draconis Combine.

Unfortunately, I don't have a favorite per se, except maybe Tharkad since my TT playing mercs were based there.

I can tell you my absolute least favorite planet though... decided for my mech merc to have an unreasonable dislike of the planet Okeefenokee. Mostly because of the swamp. Hence him going to the other side of the galactic map to work. :)

Hardcore, Magistracy of Canopus
One of the most financially successful of the Magistracy's celebrated entertainment centers, the pleasure planet Hardcore caters to the upper crust of Canopian society as well as the wealthier Inner Sphere clientele. With a permanent staff of over 300,000 professional entertainers, this warm temperate world boasts every conceivable type of pleasure palace along its equatorial and northern latitude rim. With a capacity to serve well over fifty million guests annually, Hardcore's entertainments range from the tame to the terrifying, and from ballet to full-scale blood sports. In particular, Hardcore hosts a series of MechWarrior games affiliated with the Solaris Circuit, turning vast regions of the planet's northern hemisphere over to competing BattleMech teams while the planetary populace enjoys the carnage live and in color on the public monitors. Beyond this Hardcore is famous throughout the Magistracy for its film industry, which produces thousands of Solaris Circuit videos and full-feature erotic epics quarterly for distribution throughout the Human Sphere.

Always liked Sheratan and Tau Ceti IV (New Earth), mainly due to having my Merc unit based on one of the two planets during various TT campaigns and MechWarrior (the RPG, not the PC games) stories.

Tharkad. It's the Quebec of Battletech exporting poutine, hockey players and exotic dancers.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Ya, that glacier is similar to Quebec a good portion of the year.

My personal favourite is Bethel. It was ground-zero of HFH's Plantary League operations back in MWL. Our capital may have been Monongahela next door but Bethel was our economic powerhouse, our shining jewel.

Outreach. For... personal reasons...

It gets bonus points for being within a single jump of both Terra and Carver V (from MC2)

Oberon VI - cause pirates are fun
Astrokaszy - what a wild and crazy place
Galatea - the original "mercenary's star"

In that order. ;)
