But it is too soft to use and goes down quick
So far I need a 90KPH or higher 55 ton Mech to last more the 15 sec in a brawl with
Doom crows

Individual mechs work great, but teamplay is 100% the real winner here

Heavy-hitting fast movers seem another possible approach. Better at capturing intel but can still deal with most opposition. I've also had good luck with an XL320, 4xML, 2xSRM4 Cicada X-5, although it's of course a Poor Man's Oxide (which I don't own).
An interesting thing I observe is that with the play style being so much more mobile, hardpoint location doesn't seem as critical as in 12-vs-12 game modes with peek-and-poke gameplay.

It's slow, especially for something packing an XL engine. However, not many streakspammers are expecting to be 2HKO'd by a mini-atlas.
It honestly really disappoints me that this is my best performing mech. I was hoping this gamemode would be a good place for my flamer brawlers and sub-35T lights, but big firepower and heat efficiency still wins.

I've only got two mediums at the moment, so my choices are pretty limited. Still, it works well enough against the primary targets of Stormcrows and Arctic Cheetahs.

These things made me drop my SPL builds. I hate you now. In a way only friends can hate each other.
J/k. But they are super stronk.

Yeah, spiders can be a pain.. ..had one on Polar that gave us the run for the full match length, it was brutally painful
It certainly is a map specific thing as well, you really want faster mechs on the bigger maps, but more firepower helps on the smaller maps..

I know, right? The thing was my favorite ride in CB before they removed it, but I never expected it to be really viable again.
Speaking of SPLs, you've just reminded me that I need to try scouting in a 9xSPL HBK-4P...

If you are a scrub or you have a lot of derp on your team ECM smooths over a lot of problems. It keeps you from being targeted. ECM makes Streakcrows cry, especially with Radar Derp. ECM, meeting the tonnage limit with your mech with some skill at moving and firing will carry you.
AC20s steal kills in Lights and Mediums. Throw some SPLs on the CT and then protect your right arm when you fight. Surats hate being rocked around while they are trying to do things like move and shoot. Smack a Cheetah with an AC20 and watch something pop off. Streakcrow loves it when you feed him a shell down the CT like a baby bird.

Loadout doesn't matter you just run around collecting them thingies.
For protecting intel a Crab-20, XL-350, 5 med pulse
