Pretty cool right?
Microsoft is 1 step short of distributing Windows-10 as a forced upgrade.

The only reason I have win 8.1 is I left my computer on unattended and wasn't around to shut down the process.

Read what you install or check some website which list thoses bad KB updates.
You always can install " security update for windows 7 " or " security update for Microsft .NET framework xxx " but you have to click "more infos" when it's only named "update for windows 7" and hide when it's about make evolve windows to a further version.
And if you aren't sure sometimes check some website which list bad updates like http://forum.malekal...uer-t53047.html
or give ya some ways for clean thoses kind of updates like http://pixelnova.fr/...-de-telemetrie/
( well it's in french of course

The specific one regarding Windows 10 is KB 3035583 and has been marked as important.
I advise anyone reading this that wants to avoid Windows 10 like GonoSyphiliAids to follow these steps:
- Open Control Panel
- Go to System and Security
- Click Windows Update
- Click Installed Updates
- type KB3035583 into search bar
- right click update, select Uninstall
You can also open Command Prompt as admin and type: WUSA /Uninstall /KB:3035583

You've got companies that rely on software packages that have been setup to work in Windows-7, the companies have things running just the way they want things, or they have hardware like printers, fax, whatever that don't necessarily have driver support for windows-10 yet.
Even us as gamers, like me for instance.. my Sound card doesn't have Windows-10 drivers that work. They were only supported up to windows-7.. Now my Soundcard doesn't work.. I have to run on freaking Onboard crappy sound.. all the cool features, equalizer, 7.1 surround +Bass range booster, microphone or audio recording and music creation software I used to run.. sounds like crap on Onboard audio, and so do my games..
but people with even older machines, maybe their Chipset drivers won't work anymore, or they don't work as fast now, Ethernet cards or onboard ones where companies havn't brought support drivers to windows-10 yet..
People could go to bed, with automatic updates, or just not knowing that windows-10 is scheduling this, and wake up with Windows-10 being installed.. and have a brick sitting in front of them instead of a functioning computer..
Thats just ridiculous..

This is why I ditched Android for an iPhone, which I never, ever thought I'd do. I had a realization when Apple started allowing ad blockers in the app store. Google is an ad company. Apple is a company that makes and sells products. If you look closely at the products, you can see how this difference pervades them at every level. It's not just privacy, it also goes into security, stability and quality of the software.
Look, I love PC gaming. I don't like console gaming. I just can't get the hang of a couch and a gamepad. But if Microsoft wants to become an ad company, too... ugh. Hopefully smart individuals can provide tools to disable the advertising/spyware features for a while, but eventually Windows would go into the toilet as Microsoft's focus shifts and I'd have to get a mac.

So, if anyone wants to, you can go in and manually delete the update that constantly ******* at you about this.

eveyone uses win cause its easy to use. laziness. commodity. so you need to accept the down sides also. if you want full control of your system use linux..and not even linux its so "safe" anymore.

Couldn't do anything until I clicked either one of those buttons. Clicked schedule later and just closed the window that popped up. Like wtf. If it's that important just update when i turn my computer off or slip in a notification. Don't block me from using my computer. Jeezzuz Kryce.
The more I use Win10 the more infuriated I get so many things just randomly stop working on my computer. And depending on which avenue Microsoft goes after the free-upgrade period, I might just be re-installing Win7...

After venting foul language for what must have been hours on end since Window 10 began its dirty tricks I have given up. I just lay back and it happen. Eyes closed.

A forced Windows 10 upgrade would literally prevent me from using my software for the next 8 months. Do not want.

I just hope the alternative isn't Google OS. Because then they'll have the world even more by the balls than they already do.
